The Accounting team at CoreWeave is a cornerstone of financial excellence, ensuring compliance, transparency, and accuracy in all areas of financial reporting. The team partners closely with cross-functional leaders in Finance, Legal, HR, and Treasury to support capital strategies and the company’s fast-paced growth. This group is responsible for overseeing complex accounting areas, including debt, equity, investments, and financial instruments.
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Director of Treasury Accounting to lead the accounting and reporting of all treasury-related activities, including debt, equity, investments, and hedging instruments. You will be a key contributor in ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements, supporting capital structure strategies, and maintaining strong internal controls. This role offers the opportunity to build and enhance treasury accounting processes and to work closely with stakeholders across the business in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
In this role, you will:
Manage accounting for all debt instruments (e.g., term loans, bonds, credit facilities) and ensure compliance with ASC 470 and other standards.
Oversee the accounting and reporting for stock-based compensation, ESPPs, and other equity-related transactions in accordance with ASC 718.
Lead investment accounting, including fair value analysis, impairments, and compliance with ASC 320 and ASC 323.
Prepare and review financial statement disclosures for debt, equity, investments, and derivatives for SEC filings.
Collaborate with auditors during quarterly and annual audits for all treasury-related accounting areas.
Develop internal controls and accounting policies to support SOX compliance across treasury operations.
Support system implementations and enhancements that impact treasury-related accounting and reporting.
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; must hold an active CPA license.
10+ years of relevant experience, including 2–5 years in a director-level capacity at a large public company or Big 4 firm.
Deep technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with complex debt, equity, and investment accounting.
Demonstrated knowledge of treasury operations and financial instruments.
Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial systems used for reporting and compliance.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner effectively across Finance, Legal, HR, and external auditors.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
Experience in a high-growth or public company environment.
Familiarity with SEC reporting and audit requirements.
Experience supporting treasury system implementations or financial systems integration.

The base pay and target total cash for this position range from $165,000 to $242,000 and $206,000 to $303,000, accordingly. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position includes a discretionary bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package.
