Security Manager – Threat & Vulnerability Management
Commvault is seeking a hands-on Information Security Manager to lead and grow our Threat & Vulnerability Management team. This role involves overseeing daily operations, driving adoption of cybersecurity platforms, and managing solution integration, health monitoring, control enforcement, and attack surface reporting. You’ll be managing a global team remotely.
Position Responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity initiatives focused on threat and vulnerability monitoring and reporting tools.
- Ensure “Security by Design” principles are implemented to maintain appropriate protection levels.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
- Support IT and security investigations to resolve issues efficiently.
- Stay current with industry trends and evolving threats; recommend improvements to tools and services.
- Design and maintain procedures and controls to protect information system assets and critical data.
- Collaborate with IT and product teams to safeguard critical systems and processes.
- Communicate effectively across all levels to keep stakeholders informed on security matters.
Position Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in information security.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Security Architecture, Engineering, and Vulnerability Management.
- Proven success in managing security technologies, integrations, and automation to enhance program maturity.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Preferred certifications: Security Penetration Testing, CISSP, or other relevant industry certifications.
- Hands-on experience with firewalls, detection & response technologies, SIEM, and log management.
- Experience with vulnerability management tools and penetration testing.
- Cloud security expertise across Azure, AWS, GCP, and OCI.
