Job Description:

The Role

As a member of the Technology Resiliency and Recovery (TRR) team, you will serve as a Senior Manager in a second line of defense role in Enterprise Business Resiliency (EBR). In this role you will be responsible for leading strategy, planning and governance activities for the TRR function, including developing and implementing new and exciting programs, data analytics and visualization, and directly communicating with enterprise and business technology leadership across the firm. This is an exciting & high visibility opportunity to help drive a pivotal enterprise initiative in a very dynamic environment.

The Team

The Technology Resiliency & Recovery team sits within the Corporate Risk organization. We are a dedicated team of risk professionals who provide the strategic development and execution of a technology resiliency program, with oversight of technology risks that enables our company’s business operations to continue following any disruption.

The Expertise & Skills You Bring

  • 6-8+ years demonstrated ability & familiarity with a range of technology platforms & environments such as cloud services, open/distributed systems, and mainframe.
  • 3-5+ years in a strategy and planning function
  • Experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or Risk related programs (preferred).
  • 3-5+ years working in a financial and banking industry in a technical or risk management role(preferred)
  • AWS, Azure & Kubernetes certifications would be advantageous.
  • Strong judgement, communications, and data analytics skills.
  • DRI (CBCP), or BCM (DRCP, DRCS) certifications (preferred).
  • Functional knowledge and experience with emergency response and crisis management (preferred).
  • Mentors Junior members of the team and experience building knowledge management.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Information Systems, Engineering, Data Analytics or Risk Management Discipline.

  • Design and coordinate new programs and capabilities for the program
  • Respond to emerging technology resiliency challenges and changes across the second line of defense
  • Build and maintain strategic roadmaps and metrics
  • Collaborate with leaders and partners across business, technology, architecture and engineering teams.
  • Use data analytic capabilities to develop data visualization and actionable insights 
  • Design and Facilitate workshops and cross-business unit meetings
  • Develop and maintain policy, standards and guidelines
  • Solving complicated problems, demonstrating confidence with unanticipated situations, and the ability to help find innovative ways to mitigate risk using advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Exhibits executive presence. Communicates clearly, concisely and impactfully in order to influence others; tailoring messaging to audience.
  • Encouraging a supportive environment for employees to learn and grow.
  • Participating in the incident response program and recovery activities for business operations, technology or vendor disruptions (on call rotation/including off hours).
