Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to lead our global recruitment strategy and drive the attraction of top-tier talent across engineering, operations, corporate functions, and technical specializations. This high-impact role requires a leader with strong strategic vision and operational excellence, capable of scaling high-performing teams, enhancing recruitment processes, and positioning the company as an employer of choice in the competitive semiconductor equipment industry.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute full-cycle recruitment strategies for critical roles across the organization, with a strong emphasis on technical and engineering talent, ensuring alignment with business objectives and long-term workforce planning.
Establish and manage strategic partnerships with external recruitment vendors and agencies to support high-volume and specialized hiring needs during industry growth cycles and ramp-ups, ensuring alignment with company standards, timelines, and talent quality expectations.
Enhance employer branding initiatives to position Axcelis as an employer of choice in the semiconductor industry.
Lead and mentor a small Talent Acquisition team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Design and optimize scalable recruitment processes, tools, and metrics to drive efficiency, quality of hire, and candidate experience.
Demonstrates strong knowledge of key employment laws and compliance requirements across federal, state, and local jurisdictions, including EEO, pay equity, and immigration-related considerations; ensuring all recruitment practices align with legal standards and organizational policies.
Partner closely with senior leadership and HR business partners to anticipate talent needs and proactively build pipelines for critical roles.
Engage with industry groups, professional associations, and external networks to stay ahead of talent trends, benchmark best practices, and enhance employer brand visibility.
Leverage data and analytics to inform decision-making, track performance, and continuously improve recruitment outcomes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field.
8+ years of progressive experience in talent acquisition, with at least 3 years of management experience.
Proven success recruiting for technical and engineering roles in a high-tech or manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS), sourcing tools, and recruitment analytics. Experience with Workday preferred.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
