About Veho
Veho’s mission is to power the future of commerce by making shopping, shipping and returns seamless for everyone.
We are building a modern, end-to-end logistics infrastructure designed entirely for the ever-evolving needs of ecommerce brands and everyday consumers.
Powered by next-generation technology and a vertically integrated supply chain, Veho gives brands and their customers unprecedented control over their deliveries and removes the pain from the ecommerce post-purchase experience. We make delivery the ‘extension of the brand’ and leverage it to create deeper loyalty and trust between brands and their customers, driving customer retention and lifetime value. Our rapidly growing client list includes leading consumer brands like Hello Fresh, Zara, Macy’s, Sephora, and more.
To truly build an iconic company, we strongly believe that our people and values must be aligned with our mission. As such, we take pride in our championship team, merit-based culture. We seek team players who want to compete, win, make an impact and build a legacy, and we reward performance and impact players with generous equity and incredible career growth opportunities.
About the Role
Veho's Strategic Finance team is the analytical engine behind how we evaluate and improve the economics across the entirety of our business. The Senior Manager of Strategic Finance will own unit economics modeling, serve as the embedded finance partner to multiple operational business units, and bring rigorous first-principles thinking to our most important strategic and financial decisions — including real estate and capex investments. You'll build frameworks from scratch, translate complex analysis into clear executive-ready recommendations, and earn your seat in the room as a trusted strategic voice alongside the VP of Finance and CFO. You'll also manage and develop a junior analyst, coaching them into a high-performing contributor over the next 12-18 months. This role is based in New York City (3 days in office).
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of professional experience in investment banking, management consulting, FP&A, or strategic finance
- Hands-on experience with unit economics: modeling contribution margin, understanding cost drivers at the unit level, and building P&Ls from scratch
- Experience at a startup, scale-up, or high-growth technology company
- Extremely strong financial modeling skills — builds clean, auditable, flexible models from first principles, not templates
- Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and lead with the conclusion, not the methodology
- Comfortable operating at 25,000 feet and 2.5 millimeters — can go deep with operators and step back for strategic discussions with the CFO
- Actively uses AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, etc.) to build workflows, automations, and models that increase their speed and output quality
- Desire to develop a team — sees coaching a junior analyst as part of the job, not a distraction from it
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and is comfortable shifting priorities based on new insights and business needs
- Direct, candid communicator who isn't afraid to push back when the numbers tell a different story
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in marketplace, logistics, or operations-heavy industries (e.g., last-mile delivery, e-commerce fulfillment, transportation)
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree
Compensation:
$170,000-$190,000 annually
The pay range is subject to the discretion of the Company. Additionally, Veho offers a competitive equity package, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited PTO for exempt-level roles.
Veho is a growth company that looks for team members to grow with it. No matter the location, or the role, every Veho teammate shares one galvanizing mission: driving commerce forward with a customer-centric delivery and returns experience that’s built for the modern era. We are deeply value-driven (Team Up, Drive Impact, Take Ownership, Solve Bigger, Obsess Over Experience, Make Today Count) and care tremendously about investing in our high-performers.
Join us in building the future of ecommerce logistics and in doing the work of our lifetime!
