Title: Senior Manager, Solution Consulting

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The Solution Consulting Senior Manager position is a critical member of the go-to-market team. Our Solution Consultants are experts in the Duck Creek product set and partner with Sales Directors to manage the sales process.                     

  • Provide Solution Consulting (pre-sales) support on assigned opportunities; Collaborates with Sales Directors to develop and execute effective account strategies and sales campaigns that maximize the value of the Duck Creek Reinsurance offerings.
  • Bring in-depth reinsurance industry and product knowledge to identify client needs and align and communicate Duck Creek Reinsurance value propositions to them.
  • Provide functional and technical expertise for sales staff and the customer through compelling sales presentations and highly engaging product demonstrations.  
  • Develop prospect and partner relationships by listening to, understanding, and anticipating customer needs as part of the sales process.
  • Create and deliver custom demos based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or tailored product demo for the client.
  • Participate in the Request for Proposal process, creating complete and compelling responses to customer questions and requirements.
  • Assists the sales staff in assessing application of Duck Creek Reinsurance to meet customer needs, create detailed business use cases, design and/or implementation specifications for complex products / applications / solutions. 
  • Work closely with Product Management and Engineering teams to understand offerings, product strategy/roadmap, and communicate requirements and trends encountered among prospects.

WHAT YOU’VE DONE:

  • Degree preferred or equivalent years of practical job experience in a similar function or role
  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in software solution consulting, pre-sales, strategy/value consulting, product management, or implementation of Reinsurance software.  
  • Experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) industry, specifically with Reinsurance including both ceded and assumed.

PREFERRED:

  • Preferred experience and knowledge in the London Market
  • Fluent in French

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Behaviors:

  • Previous experience working directly with customers
  • Strong and polished presentation skills with experience in complex sales situations
  • Proven ability to learn new technology and product capabilities
  • Proven ability to leverage and work across a team of high performing individuals and teams
  • Proven ability to manage other individuals in delivery of key projects
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple projects in parallel
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
  • Ability to produce high quality, professional deliverables and written correspondence
  • Preferred experience with positioning a SaaS value proposition
  • Preferred experience identifying client needs and relating to ROI/business benefit statements
  • Preferred management experience with team and project

Duck Creek Technologies supports a flexible-first work environment and has employees throughout the United States. Based on a fair and equitable compensation philosophy, we have five (5) United States pay markets based on regional validated survey market data. The expected salary range for this position is between $123,600 and $199,500. This position is also eligible for annual bonuses. The final compensation may vary due to the above listed factors and be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
