About the teamZillow’s New Construction business is building the largest and most vibrant platform for builders and new home shoppers. The New Construction Sales Operations & Program Management team is the central hub that orchestrates complex product and sales program launches by aligning multiple teams, organizing resources, fostering effective communication, and enabling the business to succeed. This team champions cross-team collaboration and operational excellence in a fast-paced and growing sales organization. This team also owns the operational systems that power our revenue engine including launch and scale of major initiatives, billing operations, and sales tooling and process enablement for New Construction.

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Sales Operations & Program Management to lead the team. In this role, you will manage a team that includes Program Managers and Operations Specialists.

Your team will own a portfolio of high-impact, cross-functional initiatives that are critical to delivering on New Construction’s mission. Your team will also drive measurable improvements in scalability, quality, and productivity.

This is a highly visible leadership role with significant cross-functional exposure to Strategy, Product, Sales, Client Experience, Marketing, Finance teams, and senior leadership.

What you’ll do
  • Lead a high-performing team of Program Managers and Operations Specialists, providing coaching, feedback, and career development to support both individual growth and business outcomes.

  • Oversee planning and execution for complex, cross-functional product and process launches, ensuring that project goals, milestones, risks, and dependencies are clearly defined, tracked, and communicated.

  • Establish team rhythms and mechanisms that drive consistency, knowledge sharing, and operational excellence.

  • Lead structured change management for process and tool updates, ensuring that changes are clearly communicated, sequenced thoughtfully, and reinforced through reporting and coaching.

  • Design and execute AI-powered frontline enablement strategies, prioritizing high-impact use cases.

  • Provide clear, regular status updates to executive stakeholders on program health, adoption, and operational risk.

  • Define and continuously refine the operating model for program management.

This role has been categorized as a Remote position. “Remote” employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.

In California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $144,800.00 - $231,200.00 annually. This base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. In Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Minnesota, Nevada, Ohio, Rhode Island, and Vermont the standard base pay range for this role is $137,500.00 - $219,700.00 annually. The base pay range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. Employees in this role will not be paid below the salary threshold for exempt employees in the state where they reside.

Who you are
  • Experienced operator & program leader. 10+ years of experience in Sales Operations, Program Management, or related functions in a technology, marketplace, or advertising environment, including experience leading complex, cross-functional programs from discovery through scale.

  • People manager and team builder. 4+ years of experience managing program managers and/or operations specialists, with a track record of building high-performing teams, defining operating models, and developing talent.

  • Program management expert. Deep familiarity with program and project management frameworks and comfort owning multiple, large-scale programs simultaneously in a dynamic environment.

  • Operator who loves clarity and structure. You excel at bringing order to ambiguity, defining clear goals and metrics, and building simple, repeatable processes that scale across teams.

  • Outstanding communicator and influencer. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear narratives for executives and frontline teams; comfortable presenting in senior forums and driving cross-functional alignment.

  • Change leader. Proven ability to lead teams through change and ambiguity, balancing urgency with thoughtfulness, and ensuring stakeholders feel heard, supported, and accountable.

Preferred qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with tools like Salesforce, Zuora, or similar platforms.

  • Familiarity with AI-enabled productivity tools.

  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent project/program management certification.
