About the team/role

As the Senior Manager, Quality Assurance - Enterprise, you will build and lead a team dedicated to delivering data accuracy and compliance for Checkr’s enterprise customer base. This role will play a critical role in the company’s support offering, providing a white glove experience to ensure that quality assurance and customer standards are continuously met with exceptional precision. 

You will collaborate closely with Checkr’s Customer Success, Product & Engineering, Legal teams to cultivate a best in class customer experience by owning data quality from the initial research through the background check lifecycle and finished product. 

As a key member of the Operations department leadership team, you will contribute directly to defining and driving organizational strategy, interfacing with executive leadership, and achieving company-level goals.

What you’ll do

  • Build, mentor, and scale a team of background check industry experts focused on driving accuracy and compliance for Checkr’s enterprise customers
  • Oversee daily team production, maintain workflow quality, and ensure consistent adherence to key performance indicators
  • Develop and implement robust frameworks and processes to consistently meet and exceed the high standards of Checkr’s customers
  • Proactively manage the customer feedback loop, efficiently fielding requests and needs, and rapidly translating them into impactful solutions
  • Serve as a company and product expert, representing the team and its service externally to customers
  • Identify and spearhead product and operational improvements in close collaboration with Checkr’s Product and Engineering, Customer Success, and Legal teams

What you bring

  • 7+ years of background check industry experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience
  • Proven experience building and scaling high-performing teams
  • A strong analytical mindset paired with a creative approach to problem-solving
  • Demonstrated experience working directly with customers, effectively serving as a visible face of the organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, iterative environment

Our hub locations are Denver, CO, San Francisco, CA, Santiago, Chile and our new office in Nashville, TN! Individuals are expected to work from the office 3 days a week. We use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range. If this role is remote, we have listed the top to the bottom of the possible range, but we will specify the target range for an exact location when you are selected for a recruiting discussion. The base salary range for this role is $113,000 to $141,000 in Nashville, TN.
