The Role  


Reporting to the Vice President of Product Marketing, the Senior Manager of Product Marketing will lead go-to-market (GTM) strategy, positioning, messaging, competitive analysis for the Netwrix Identity portfolio, which includes Identity Governance, Directory Management, and Identity Threat Detection and Response technologies. In this role, the Senior Manager will also lead a small team, collaborate with sales enablement to help sellers close deals, and assist in creating demand generation content that converts. 

 

Responsibilities 


Customer Knowledge 


  • Market Research - Acquire and possess in-depth knowledge of our target markets, segments, buyer personas, competitors, and partners via primary and secondary market research. Educate the company on market requirements, trends, and competitor capabilities. 
  • Engage with customers & sales frequently and intently; be the customer advocate within Netwrix, bringing the voice of customer to the product messaging.  

Product Marketing Strategy 


  • Positioning & Messaging – Create and continuously articulate the story of our Identity portfolio, develop compelling positioning and differentiation and ensure this messaging is reflected in marketing, sales, and other assets. 
  • Competitive Strategy – Develop competitive insight that supports internal sellers and partners in engaging with their accounts and helps the content team create accurate and compelling customer-facing competitive content. 

 

Go To Market Strategy and Execution 


  • Go-to-Market Strategy - Develop integrated marketing and launch plans in collaboration with Product, Marketing, and Sales.  
  • Sales Enablement - Support our sales enablement efforts as a thought leader and subject matter expert and deliver educational and inspiring presentations internally and externally. 

Team Leadership 


  • Support and coach the team to be the best they can be. 
  • Own additional tasks as needed. 

 

Qualifications  


Netwrix is seeking a strong player-coach who is an original thinker with a point of view, comfortable with ambiguity, can influence without authority, and has a high sense of urgency to get things done. 

  • 5+ years of experience in product roles, showing impactful results in areas such as go-to-market strategy, narrative building, storytelling and revenue growth.  
  • Bachelor’s required: MBA preferred.
  • Experience in Identity, Governance, and Access areas of cybersecurity strongly preferred.  
  • Outstanding communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.  
  • Excellent strategic thinking and ability to influence across organizations.
