Job Description

Solutions Marketing – focus on promoting solutions, engaging with key driving customers in alignment with the field and internal product groups to drive full product promotion and uncover future solution requirements. In this role, you will focus on key customer engagement, driving application-level solutions and opportunities. The primary focus is the Industrial Automation segment, including PLCs, edge sensing, motor control, and HMI interfaces.

As the regional lead, you will drive Renesas system solutions and collaborate closely with Sales, FAE's, Product Groups, Channel marketing and the System Architects to formulate and execute strategic engagement plans to expand growth in this segment.

Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Opportunity Development

  • Engage with key market driving customers to understand requirements, drive solution-level solutions to secure design wins and drive revenue growth.
  • Engage with channel sales/marketing teams to identify additional growth opportunities with winning solutions.
  • Orchestrate Business Units, Sales, and FAE's in solutions promotion and business development activities.
  • Establish and nurture trusting and productive relationships with key technical and procurement stakeholders in the industrial automation customer base.
  • Understand market and customer requirements and work with Product Groups to define product requirements and improve product roadmaps.
  • Research and monitor competition, market dynamics and design windows, and provide recommendations on required responses and/or actions.
  • Prepare and continuously refine customer presentations to best communicate our value proposition.  Ensure customer-facing documents effectively communicate desired messages to maximize impact and adoption rate.
  • Define and develop product collateral, competitive analysis, customer presentations and field training material.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in business development, field applications engineering, marketing, or related roles.
  • Deep understanding of the Industrial Automation market: trends, solutions, challenges, competitors, standards, etc.
  • Experience with technical field sales and FAE's combined with a proven ability to follow up on leads and build relationships in the field.
  • Strong strategic thinking, analytical abilities, and communication skills. Capable of conveying complex concepts clearly, concisely, and effectively.
  • Ability to work effectively in a matrixed, cross-functional environment, collaborating seamlessly with teams across multiple offices worldwide.
