Position Summary

Develops and delivers the analytics, reporting, and business insights that support CVS Health's Retail Trade organization and manufacturer partnership strategies. Serves as a subject matter expert on Retail Trade data assets, integrating information from multiple internal and external sources to ensure data integrity, generate actionable insights, and measure program performance. Evaluates ESPO and other programs, identifies opportunities to enhance value delivery, and develops reporting, dashboards, and executive materials that support strategic decision-making. Partners closely with Finance, Analytics, Operations, and Trade leadership to translate complex data into clear business recommendations and support manufacturer engagement activities. As the role evolves, contributes to broader data strategy initiatives and represents Retail Trade Analytics in select manufacturer discussions, business reviews, and cross-functional strategic forums.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the Retail Trade organization's subject matter expert for data sourcing, reporting, and analytics.
  • Extract, validate, reconcile, and integrate data from multiple internal and external platforms, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of business reporting.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools that support ongoing business performance management.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and communicate the performance of ESPO and other programs, identifying trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
  • Generate actionable insights that help quantify, defend, and enhance the value proposition delivered to pharmaceutical manufacturer partners.
  • Support development of manufacturer business cases and analytical materials used in partnership discussions and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reporting packages for Trade leadership, Finance, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance to ensure alignment between operational performance, reporting outputs, and financial results.
  • Collaborate across Trade, Analytics, Data Science, Operations, and other internal teams to address complex business questions and support strategic initiatives.
  • Translate large, complex datasets into concise and actionable recommendations for leadership audiences.
  • Develop performance measurements, KPIs, and analytical frameworks to assess program effectiveness and business impact.
  • Support preparation of quarterly business reviews (QBRs), executive presentations, and manufacturer-facing reporting materials.
  • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data infrastructure, automation, and analytical capabilities across the Retail Trade organization.
  • Partner with Trade leadership to shape the evolution of Retail Trade's data and analytics strategy, identifying opportunities to enhance reporting capabilities, measurement frameworks, and decision support tools.
  • Serve as an analytics representative in manufacturer engagements, Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), and strategic business discussions, providing insights that support partnership growth, program performance, and value demonstration.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in data analytics, reporting, dashboard development, and data visualization.
  • Experience working with large, complex datasets across multiple systems and data environments.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, and reconciliation processes.
  • Ability to translate analytical findings into clear business insights and executive-level recommendations.
  • Experience supporting manufacturer partnerships, trade analytics, pharmacy, healthcare, retail, or related commercial functions.
  • Advanced skills in tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Excel, or similar analytics platforms.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, finance, healthcare, retail, or a related field.
  • Experience working with large datasets and translating data into actionable business insights.
  • Experience developing dashboards, reporting tools, and performance metrics.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams
     

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$75,400.00 - $182,549.00


This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.  This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
