Together we fight for everyone’s opportunity for a better financial future.

We will do this together — with customers, partners and colleagues. We will fight for others, not against: We will stand up for and champion everyone’s access to opportunities. The status quo is not good enough … we believe every individual and every community deserves access to financial opportunities. We are determined to support both individuals and communities in reaching a better financial future.  We know that reaching this future depends on our actions today.

Like our Purpose Statement, Voya believes in being bold and committed to action.  We are committed to a work environment where the differences that we are born with — and those we acquire throughout our lives — are understood, valued and intentionally pursued. We believe that our employees own our culture and have a responsibility to foster an environment where we all feel comfortable bringing our whole selves to work. Purposefully bringing our differences together to positively influence our culture, serve our clients and enrich our communities is essential to our vision.

Voya is seeking a dynamic, detail-obsessed Senior Manager, Partnership Activation, to lead all aspects of our sponsorship experience with the Boston Legacy women’s professional soccer team. This role will be the primary point of contact for sponsorship and will own the strategy, planning, and flawless execution of white glove experiences for executives, clients, and community partners.

We are looking for someone who intuitively understands service — someone who notices the small things, anticipates needs before they’re spoken, and creates hospitality moments people remember. This is the person who knows the leaders’ and guests’ preferences, and ensures every touchpoint feels elevated, seamless, and intentional.

If you thrive in fast paced environments, love bringing experiences to life, and have a hospitality instinct that borders on superpower, we would love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities

Sponsorship Experience Leadership

  • Serve as Voya’s primary lead for all Boston Legacy sponsorship activations.

  • Build and execute a season-long experience strategy across all matches (starting March 14), including night games, weekend games, away games, and playoff opportunities.

  • Navigate partnership needs, benefits, vendors, timelines, and gameday operations with precision.

Executive & VIP Experience Management

  • Create and deliver white glove, luxury level experiences for Voya executives, clients, and key partners.

  • Anticipate preferences, personalize service, and maintain detailed guest profiles (e.g., beverage preferences, seating preferences, dietary needs).

  • Ensure all stadium activations feel curated, polished, and unforgettable.

Event Planning & Hospitality Execution

  • Design and execute onsite events, suite experiences, special gameday moments, and behind-the-scenes opportunities.

  • Manage ticket allocations, RSVPs, and high touch communication to generate excitement and exclusivity.

  • Coordinate logistics seamlessly — catering, VIP entry, signage, gifting, and gameday flow.

Stadium Experience & Community Engagement

  • Leverage full access to the stadium for community events, client engagements, employee moments, and brand storytelling.

  • Partner with internal and external stakeholders to bring innovative concepts to life.

Marketing, Communications & Engagement

  • Create messaging that builds anticipation, drives attendance, and highlights unique opportunities.

  • Craft communications that feel warm, polished, and on brand.

  • Track engagement trends and proactively recommend the latest ideas to elevate the experience.

Relationship Management

  • Serve as a trusted ambassador, working closely with:

  • Boston Legacy FC representatives

  • Voya executives and corporate affairs

  • Community partners

  • Internal teams supporting the sponsorship

  • Build strong working relationships to ensure best-in-class delivery.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in VIP hospitality, sports/entertainment experiences, events management, or luxury client service.

  • Proven ability to execute flawlessly under pressure and manage multiple experiences simultaneously.

  • Comfort working evenings and weekends during the 30-game season.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, service-oriented mindset.

  • Effective communication skills — compelling, concise, audience aware.

  • Creativity in designing memorable, differentiated experiences.

  • Ability to self-start, self-organize, and operate with minimal direction.

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
