Who We're Looking For

As a member of the Media Freelance Team at Marketbridge, the Senior Manager, Paid Social will lead paid social strategy and execution across a portfolio of B2B client accounts.

This role is designed for someone who has strong hands-on paid social expertise but is ready to operate at a broader level. You’ll manage more complex client programs, oversee multiple accounts with different goals and audiences, guide campaign strategy and optimization, and help clients understand how paid social supports their broader demand generation, ABM, pipeline, and revenue goals.

You’ll remain close to the platforms and should be comfortable stepping into campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, and optimization when needed. However, success at this level comes from your ability to see the bigger picture, set direction, guide others, and make sound strategic decisions across accounts.

Our team contributes by providing strategic guidance to clients and internal teams around how paid social can solve complex marketing challenges. We are also actively involved in business development, organic growth, and shaping media recommendations for both current and prospective clients.

You Must Be

Nimble: You can ramp up quickly on new accounts and move across several clients, priorities, and platforms without losing quality or attention to detail.

Collaborative: You work easily alongside our in-house Media, Demand Strategy, Creative, Analytics, Client Success, and Project Management teams, and fit into existing workflows from day one.

Curious: You keep learning and look for better ways to work, including thoughtful use of AI and emerging tools to improve strategy, analysis, and efficiency.

Strategic: You look beyond individual campaigns and connect paid social decisions to broader audience, demand generation, ABM, and business goals.

Proactive: You anticipate what clients and teams will need, bring recommendations without being asked, and challenge the expected when there’s a stronger path forward.

Detail Driven: You work at a strategic level while staying close to the campaign details that affect performance.

A Strong Communicator: You simplify complex media performance and explain recommendations clearly to clients and internal stakeholders, including clear handoffs and status updates as a remote contributor.

Self-Directed: You manage your own time, deliverables, and deadlines with minimal oversight, and you flag risks or capacity constraints early.

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for an experienced freelance paid social strategist to lead paid social strategy and performance across select B2B client accounts. You’ll work as an extension of our Social team, bringing senior-level expertise to client programs on a flexible, engagement-based basis.

Scope of Work

Client & Strategy Leadership

  • Lead paid social strategy across assigned B2B client accounts, turning business goals into audience, channel, investment, testing, and measurement plans

  • Join and lead client conversations on performance, optimization, investment changes, and paid social strategy as needed

  • Connect paid social performance to broader B2B outcomes, including lead quality, account engagement, pipeline, and revenue

Campaign & Performance Oversight

  • Oversee paid social programs across LinkedIn, Meta, Reddit, and emerging platforms, including ABM, retargeting, and multi-touch campaigns

  • Guide budget planning, pacing, optimization, testing, and investment decisions for assigned accounts

  • Stay hands-on in the platforms: campaign setup, QA, troubleshooting, and optimization

  • Partner with Analytics and Creative to strengthen measurement, tracking, messaging, and testing based on performance insights

Team & Cross-Functional Support

  • Provide strategic guidance, campaign reviews, and QA support to in-house Specialists and Managers as needed

  • Work with Demand Strategy, SEM, Advanced Media, Analytics, Creative, Client Success, and Project Management so paid social fits into the broader media strategy

  • Follow and contribute to team processes, documentation, and QA standards, and recommend improvements based on your experience

Growth & Innovation

  • Recommend new platforms, audience opportunities, AI-enabled tools, and testing approaches that can improve client performance

  • Support new business pitches with paid social strategy, forecasts, and investment recommendations on a project basis

  • Flag opportunities to expand paid social work within existing client relationships

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of paid social experience, including agency and/or freelance work, with strong B2B paid social experience

  • Proven experience managing multiple client accounts or complex paid social programs at the same time

  • Deep hands-on experience with LinkedIn Ads and Meta; Reddit or other emerging platforms a plus

  • Strong understanding of ABM and B2B demand generation, including target account activation, buying-committee audiences, retargeting, and longer sales cycles

  • Experience building paid social strategy across audience planning, investment, testing, optimization, and measurement, not just campaign execution

  • Strong analytical and measurement skills, with the ability to connect campaign performance to lead quality, pipeline, account engagement, and business outcomes

  • Confident client-facing experience, including presenting strategy and performance recommendations to senior stakeholders

  • Experience reviewing campaign strategy and execution and guiding junior team members

  • Comfortable using AI and emerging tools to improve research, analysis, workflow, and campaign strategy

  • Proven track record working independently and remotely, with strong organization, reliable communication, and good judgment across competing priorities

  • Portfolio, case studies, or client references available on request
