The Opportunity

Marketing Excellence is a highly organized, operationally focused marketer responsible for enabling strong execution across congress operations, marketing events, budget and contract management, asset governance, and marketing operations processes. This role partners closely with Marketing, Commercial Operations, Medical, Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Finance, Procurement, agency partners, and vendors to ensure marketing initiatives are planned, executed, and tracked with quality, consistency, and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Amylyx print production and fulfillment. Manage the lifecycle for digital and print marketing assets, including roll-out readiness, printing and fulfillment coordination, expiry tracking, and retirement. Support launch and roll-out planning for new or updated field assets, including communications, distribution lists, inventory planning, and stakeholder readiness.
  • Own Speaker Bureau operations, including vendor management,, SOP development, FMV assessments, coordination of live and virtual speaker training events, and program improvement.
  • Support the coordination of marketing events such as advisory boards, internal planning meetings, congress activities, customer engagements, and related programs in partnership with key Marketing stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external partners. Maintain event calendars, workback schedules, trackers, planning documents, and status updates to keep stakeholders aligned and accountable
  • Help ensure events are executed in accordance with company policies, applicable compliance requirements, approved budgets, and established ways of working
  • Support marketing budget management by tracking planned and actual spend, purchase orders, accruals, invoices, and budget updates. Coordinate contract initiation, routing, status tracking, renewals, and close-out activities in partnership with Legal, Procurement, Finance, and business owners
  • Act as Marketing Liaison for Medical/Legal/Regulatory review meetings, helping to prioritize agendas, facilitate follow-ups with agency partners, and liaise with Commercial Ops and MLR Coordinator to ensure efficient review and approval of all marketing materials
  • Institute and champion marketing policies, procedures, and ways of working that promote consistency, compliance, operational excellence, and cross-functional adoption
  • Serve as project manager for brand and tactical planning processes, coordinating timelines, inputs, stakeholder alignment, and follow-through to support effective planning and execution
  • Promote a culture of operational discipline, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing operations, marketing project management, congress or event operations, commercial operations, agency management, or a related role in biotech or pharma  industry
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex timelines, budgets, contracts, vendors, cross-functional stakeholders, and operational processes
  • Experience supporting congresses, advisory boards, marketing events, or customer engagement programs
  • Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management, digital and print production processes, fulfillment operations, version control, and expiration management
  • Experience working in a regulated environment and collaborating with Legal, Regulatory, Compliance, Medical, and Commercial stakeholders
  • Exceptional project management, organization, and follow-through
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality, compliance, and process consistency
  • Collaborative mindset with strong relationship-building and vendor-management skills
  • Proactive problem-solving orientation and ability to identify opportunities for operational improvement

Work Location and Conditions

  • At Amylyx, we proudly support remote work opportunities within the United States. However, due to business considerations related to health insurance coverage and state tax regulations, we are unable to hire employees who reside and/or work in certain states. Currently, we are not considering applicants from Alaska, Arizona, Hawaii, Michigan and Tennessee.
  • Preference will be given to candidates residing in the New England who can come on site as needed
  • You will be expected to travel to our corporate location in Cambridge, MA several times a year and attend other company-related events as necessary and requested.
  • You must have access to work in setting which enables meeting all requirements of the role (including privacy, reliable internet access, phone, ability to video conference, etc.) at your remote location.

Compensation

The pay range posted below represents our good faith estimate of compensation for this role, based on market data and internal benchmarks. The final offer may vary depending on a candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, as well as considerations of internal equity.
