Job Summary & Responsibilities

To manage the warehouse and shipping activities to support manufacturing operations and the On-time Shipment of Tools by helping to provide the right material, in the right quantities, at the right time from the right source.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Manage 5 Areas of logistics operations in warehousing and shipping  (Receiving, Shipping, Stockroom, inventory control and MRB) to support all material move and transport.
  • Responsible for performing the physical and administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, picking/packing, storing and distributing.
  • Responsible for overseeing warehouse activities and performance and leading all levels of the warehouse team (Supervisor, Leads, Inventory Control, and Material Associates) to accomplish the productivity goals for the day and establishing a culture of positive employee relations while ensuring all processes, best practices, and policies are adhered to consistently.
  • This role will require a leader to create a climate in which people want to do their best; empowers others; invites input from each person; makes each individual feel his/her work is important; is someone people like working for and with.
  • Provides daily directions and leadership to the stockroom, receiving, shipping and MRB departments and their respective Supervisor and Leads.
  • Ensures all daily work assignments are scheduled and achieved.    Escalate and reassign resources as necessary to meet department goals.
  • Ensure that the Warehouse is operating under strict good material handling practices with a heavy emphasis on 6S.
  • Anticipate, communicate and resolve internal and external issues that could affect the Warehouse optimization.
  • Coordinate/lead efforts to improve Warehouse operations and create and revise procedures.
  • Identify operational issues and process improvement opportunities to management, propose solutions.
  • Engage with cross functional groups to facilitate problem resolution and continuous improvements (Kaizen events).
  • Accountable for the safe operation of all equipment, including forklifts, hand tools, and other equipment in the operation.
  • Creates and publishes weekly and monthly performance metrics and drives improvements based to meet department goals.
  • Proven ability to identify and fix ERP transaction errors to maintain high inventory accuracy: Responsible for researching and identifying root cause.
  • Inventory control: Research/reconcile end of day cycle count variances.
  • Accountable for ensuring the Warehouse is 6S ready 24x7 and promotes 6S activities to sustain warehouse is organized and safe.
  • Warehouse Manager will immediately document and report to the EHS Officer and their direct manager any situation, incident or problems that directly relate to the efficient, complete, and timely dispatch of any and all assigned work.
  • Must investigate and report all accidents and near misses to the EHS officer in a timely and efficient manner.
  • May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

Education:

            High School Diploma or Associates or Bachelors Degree.

Knowledge:

Materials and ERP knowledge and ability to understand the Customer requirements.   Previous Oracle experience is preferred.

Indepth experience in running a warehouse operations and leading a team.

Skills:

            Coordination Skills, Material Expedition Skills, Communication Skills, ERP Skills, Team Skills.

Certified or ability to be forklift certified on all forklift equipment.  Ability to successfully train team members.

Data skills and experience to provide/develop/report on operational metrics and performance KPI’s

advanced or intermediate Excel skills, plus PowerPoint and preferred Procedure writing, Process Flow + RACI

            Experience:

            Min 10+ years of prior warehouse operations and leadership experience. Hi-tech/Semi Conductor experience is a plus.

Compensation & Growth

• Base Salary Range:

$118,400.00 - $177,600.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
  • Additional Rewards: Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
