This position is responsible for providing legal analysis, research, advice, and direction on regulatory issues for Charter's broadband and video lines of business. This person will also provide legal support to cross functional business groups on various regulatory initiatives and advise on various broadband matters.

The base pay for this position generally is between
$98,900.00 and $175,300.00. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.

- Actively and consistently support all efforts to implement FCC and state PUC regulatory requirements.
- Advise senior management and business units to ensure the company complies in its day-to-day operations with existing and new regulatory obligations that apply to its broadband and video services.
- Establish and maintain an effective relationship with internal stakeholders.
- Identify and analyze regulatory trends to help inform and advance company's business objectives and initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and present to internal and external stakeholders on key regulatory issues.
- Provide regulatory advice to business units, Government Affairs and leadership on new and revised state and federal regulations.
- Assist leadership to align business policy with state and federal regulatory initiatives.
- Manage state broadband regulations.
- Assist with the regulatory support of residential and commercial services, for both new and existing initiatives, in the form of comments in regulatory proceedings before state and federal regulators.
- Evaluate and provide timely analysis of state and federal regulations (i.e. Orders, Dockets, Notices Proposed Rulemaking, and legislation) with recommendations accordingly.
- Coordinate and communicate with appropriate key internal stakeholders the regulatory changes to ensure regulatory compliance and mitigate company risks and liabilities.
- Coordinate and manage outside counsel associated with a variety of regulatory matters across all lines of Charter's business.
- Perform other duties and projects as required.

- Demonstrated ability to perform legal research and writing
Required Education
- Law Degree from an accredited law school
Required Related Work Experience and Number of Years
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in a law firm or as an in-house lawyer in the cable or similar industry.

- Knowledge of Administrative Process
Preferred Related Work Experience and Number of Years
- Management or leadership experience - 3+ years
- Communications sector experience is a plus
- Regulatory experience with state and/or federal administrative agency
