Position Overview:

As the Senior Manager of FP&A, you will lead the company’s financial planning, forecasting, and strategic analysis efforts, serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team and business leaders. You will drive financial visibility, operational efficiency, and strategic growth through data-driven insights and disciplined financial management.

This role is ideal for a dynamic, forward-thinking leader with a strong foundation in corporate finance and accounting, proven experience managing and scaling FP&A functions, and a passion for driving impact within solar, renewable energy, or high-growth scale-up environments.

  • Serve as a key strategic partner to the executive team, providing insight and financial guidance that influence company direction, growth initiatives, and capital allocation decisions.
  • Oversee and enhance the annual planning and rolling forecast processes, ensuring alignment with company strategy and operational execution.
  • Develop, refine, and maintain dynamic financial models and dashboards that measure performance, forecast outcomes, and support strategic investment decisions.
  • Own company-wide KPI development and tracking, ensuring alignment between operational metrics and long-term financial goals.
  • Provide strategic and financial analysis to support business cases, new market opportunities, product launches, and project-level ROI.
  • Implement scalable financial systems and process automation to increase forecasting accuracy and reporting efficiency.
  • Mentor and develop a high-performing FP&A team, fostering analytical excellence, strategic thinking, and professional growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams to improve forecasting accuracy and financial transparency.
  • Support corporate development activities, including M&A modeling, due diligence, and integration analysis.
  • Communicate financial performance and outlook to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders through clear and compelling presentations.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CPA, or CFA strongly preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive FP&A or corporate finance experience, with at least 2+ years in a management or leadership capacity.
  • Proven success leading financial planning, forecasting, and analysis in a renewable energy, solar, or high-growth/scale-up environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive decision-making through financial insight and strategic perspective.
  • Strong technical proficiency in financial modeling, scenario planning, and business case development.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing financial systems and automation tools (e.g., Adaptive, Anaplan, NetSuite, Power BI).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse audiences.
  • Proven record of building and leading high-performing teams in fast-paced, evolving environments.
