What you will do:
FM:Systems is seeking a Senior Manager of Finance to provide financial analysis and support for all finance related aspects. In addition, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate administration of daily operations, revenue recognition, financial projections, scenario analysis, and analyzing customer economics and product mix trends to develop and guide strategic initiatives.
How you will do it:
Builds a structured forecasting and budgeting process centered on enterprise KPIs which creates consistency across the business, drives better visibility and delivers timely, accurate, and meaningful data to the executive leadership team, and investors.
Work collaboratively with the Head of Finance and executive leadership team to evaluate and implement key business levers to drive consistent YOY growth.
Creates a forward-looking view of the business that contextually translates performance and analysis into action and value creation, via forecasting analyses including but not limited to ARR roll-forward, revenue projections on a product line basis, and for various SaaS KPIs.
Supports, and leads as requested pricing and other strategic initiatives to maintain constant momentum in the business.
Assist with day-to-day operations and work closely with the executive leadership and corporate teams to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timely reporting of the financial data for all of the company's internal operational and segment-level requirements (budgeting & forecasting).
Owns end-to-end as a finance partner to functional and business leaders the annual, quarterly, and monthly financial/business planning and forecasting process for the business.
Reviews and continually adjusts plans and forecasts for alignment with business objectives, market opportunities and the ability to execute, and acts as a business partner.
Provide insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including trend analysis, profitability analysis, and cost management.
Performs other related duties as necessary or assigned.
What we look for:
Bachelor’s degree is required; MBA, MSF or CPA/CFA strongly preferred.
Six to ten years of progressive FP&A/finance and leadership experience.
Recurring revenue/SaaS software/technology company, B2B SaaS a plus.
Strong understanding of core financial concepts, including cost accounting, reporting, cash management and revenue recognition, balanced with sound business judgment.
Strategic finance “all-rounder” with the ability to organize, integrate and analyze a wide range of financial, operational, competitor and marketplace information to deliver sustainable high performance and value.
Experience developing models and forecasts to support and recommend business decisions.
Practical operational finance skills will be critical, including the ability to develop meaningful analyses, performance measures and incentives related to cash flow, customers, service levels and other measures that drive profitability and value.
Hands-on, high energy, and “roll up your sleeves” mentality with the ability to work in a fluid, growth-minded environment. Desire to go above and beyond. Self-motivated, with demonstrated excitement about driving growth.
Exceptional communication skills to inform and influence at all levels internally and externally. Seen as an approachable future leader across the organization.
