Job Description:
In this position as a Senior Manager of Federal Credit, you will provide comprehensive financial analysis and general ledger support to a federal agency accounting team. This role requires a deep understanding of federal accounting principles and reporting standards. In this position, you will also:
- Investigate financial abnormalities, identify root causes, and recommend solutions that meet audit standards.
- Support monthly trading partner reconciliations and variance explanations.
- Monitor GTAS edits, prepare adjusting entries, and analyze monthly adjustments for systemic issues.
- Review and enhance standard operating procedures (SOPs) to improve clarity and efficiency across financial functions.
- Assist in monthly reconciliation efforts and support enhancement of accounts receivable loss allowance methodologies.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to ensure accurate and compliant financial reporting.
Required Skills:
- Master’s Degree required.
- 20+ years of financial services and federal credit consulting experience.
- 5 years of experience reviewing and approving valuation model methodologies and subsidy models for federal credit programs.
- 5 years of experience with federal credit regulations, including OMB Circulars A-11 and A-129.
Desired Skills:
- Demonstrated success managing federal credit reviews of projects exceeding $1B in scope.
- Strong ability to synthesize quantitative findings into executive-level briefings and reports.
- Deep knowledge of Title XI and other federal credit programs impacting infrastructure and capital-intensive projects.
- Experience mentoring and developing junior financial analysts and sector specialists.
- CFA, CPA, or other relevant financial certification.
At Blake Willson Group, we believe in transparency and fairness in compensation practices. For this position, we offer a competitive salary range of $160,000 to $190,000 in the United States. Your individual salary within this range will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to your education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
