The Senior Manager of Employee Engagement & Experience will lead the development of strategic programs and initiatives that elevate what it means to be an Amentum employee and leader while fostering a unified One Amentum culture. With a strong emphasis on action and impact, the role will deliver highly visible, outcome-driven solutions that identify, reflect and amplify employee voice, enable authentic storytelling, and strengthen collaboration across businesses and functions. This role reports to the Sr Director, Employee Engagement & Experience Enablement. This is a REMOTE role teleworking from home, requiring occasional travel to work on-site at Amentum’s U.S. headquarters in Virginia. US Citizenship is required to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Employee Experience Strategy
Design and implement enterprise engagement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Develop and embed the Employee Value Proposition (EVP) into lifecycle moments that matter (onboarding, career milestones, recognition, etc.).
Partner cross-functionally to ensure consistent experience enablement across HR and business units.
2. Engagement Program Design & Activation
Create and manage programs that foster a positive employee experience and culture.
Validate profile work with employees and leaders to ensure relevance and impact.
3. Listening & Talent Insights
Lead enterprise listening strategy, including engagement surveys, monthly pulse checks, and focus groups.
Analyze feedback and generate actionable insights to inform leadership decisions and improve employee experience.
Align program-specific survey work with enterprise results for holistic reporting.
4. Culture & Identity Integration
Embed cultural identity and values across milestone moments and organizational initiatives.
Drive storytelling campaigns that highlight achievements, recognition, and values in action.
5. Governance & Measurement
Establish metrics and reporting frameworks to measure engagement program success.
Continuously monitor trends and recommend improvements for scalability and efficiency.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in psychology, business administration, human resources, or similar field is desired.
12 or more years' experience in human resources, leadership development, and organizational development, with five years in a complex and global organization.
Expert level experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
Previous experience working in a government contractor and international experience preferred.
Must be a US Citizen to apply.
REMOTE ROLE with the ability to travel periodically <10% to Chantilly, VA area to work on-site.
Preferred:
HRCI or SHRM certifications highly preferred
Working Conditions:
Full-time, managerial-level position.
Occasional travel may be required depending on organizational needs.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Compensation Details:
$120k - $150k
