About the Opportunity
As a Senior Manager in the Compliance Technology & Data Strategy team, you will play a critical role in shaping the FCC model governance, oversight, and strategic development for KYC—Customer Risk Rating (CRR) and Watchlist Screening systems applied to both fiat and crypto ecosystems. You will lead independent validation and effectiveness testing of CRR models and watchlist screening engines, drive data quality initiatives, and help define a strategic roadmap to address current and emerging challenges in KYC and sanctions technology. You will also support regulatory readiness efforts and help position the firm to meet evolving global regulatory expectations related to KYC and watchlist screening model governance.
In addition to testing & validation responsibilities, you will help shape the firm’s compliance technology strategy for KYC and watchlist screening — driving improvements to screening engines, KYC platforms, data architecture, and integration of advanced technologies to strengthen FCC controls.
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Partner with FCC program leads and compliance product developers to contribute to the development of the compliance technology roadmap for KYC and watchlist screening, with a focus on platform enhancements, screening engine performance, and strategic data improvements
  • Lead independent validation and effectiveness testing of Customer Risk Rating models and sanctions / PEP screening engines (name screening, payments screening, adverse media screening where applicable)
  • Identify and support initiatives to enhance screening engine efficiency, reduce false positives, and ensure alignment with the latest regulatory expectations and FCC risk typologies
  • Develop testing strategies to assess model fitness, tuning, Type I and Type II errors, and coverage of regulatory risks
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to review model and screening engine design and to provide credible challenge implementation choices, while maintaining independent oversight
  • Monitor ongoing CRR model and watchlist screening performance and drive enhancements to model monitoring frameworks
  • Define and oversee FCC-critical data quality monitoring for KYC & watchlist screening models and data flows; lead remediation of identified data issues
  • Develop frameworks and collaborate with product developers and FCC leads to produce reports and documentation to support regulatory readiness and examination preparation
  • Stay current on regulatory expectations and best practices for CRR and watchlist screening model governance (NYDFS, FATF, OFAC, EU regulations, FCA, MAS)
  • Support the strategic evolution of the firm’s KYC & watchlist screening technology stack in collaboration with cross-functional partners
What We Look For In You
  • 8+ years of experience in FCC/AML compliance, sanctions compliance, FCC model testing & validation, or related domains
  • Experience with blockchain analytics tools (e.g., Chainalysis, TRM, Elliptic) or familiarity with on-chain data and smart contract transaction patterns
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related quantitative field
  • Deep understanding of CRR models and watchlist screening engines and their role in FCC risk mitigation
  • Strong familiarity with regulatory expectations and global requirements for KYC/CDD and watchlist screening
  • Experience conducting model validation and/or model risk management in a regulated environment
  • Strong understanding of compliance-critical data management and data quality controls for KYC and watchlist screening
  • Deep expertise in a wide range of programming languages like Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, C#, C++, and experienced with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Amplitude, Power BI, Metabase)
  • Proven ability to develop and communicate validation findings and strategic insights to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Compliance, Product, Engineering, Risk, Internal Audit)
  • Practical knowledge of sanctions regimes and screening system configuration (e.g., fuzzy matching, name normalization, list management)
  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and written communication skills
Perks & Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package
  • L&D programs and Education subsidy for employees' growth and development
  • Various team building programs and company events
  • Comprehensive healthcare schemes for employees and dependants
  • More that we love to tell you along the process!
