The Internal Comms Lead will shape employee engagement and internal storytelling strategies, develop communication campaigns, oversee storytelling across formats, and advise leaders on effective messaging to enhance internal communications and culture alignment.

Geode currently manages over $1.5 trillion in AUM across the products it advises and sub-advises.
Geode is looking for a highly motivated Senior Manager, Communications to lead communications and employee engagement initiatives across the firm. Reporting to the Head of Human Resources, this is unique opportunity to develop and implement internal communication plans that effectively engage employees and enhance Geode’s organizational culture. As the voice of internal communications, the Senior Manager, Communications will align communication efforts with Geode’s business objectives which is critical in driving employee engagement and supporting our overall HR initiatives.
This role is based out of our office in Boston, Massachusetts and is required to follow the firm’s current hybrid work schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in-office, with the option to work Monday and Friday remote from home.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create and lead the execution of an internal communication plan that aligns with Geode’s strategic objectives, ensuring consistent and effective messaging across the organization
- Draft, edit, produce and distribute engaging content for internal channels including newsletters, intranet, digital signage, emails, Microsoft Teams and internal meetings
- Partner with leaders across the organization to determine communication needs for individual groups, ensuring holistic alignment and integration of communication efforts
- Produce visual content, including infographics, Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and videos, to enhance the employee experience
- Provide support and guidance to senior leadership on internal communication strategies, including internal presentations, written communications and meetings
- Create and manage an annual communications and events calendar, partnering with Geode’s Employee Resource Groups (ERG’s)
- Partner with Human Resources on employee engagement initiatives such as reward and recognition programs
- Work closely with Geode’s Legal and Compliance teams to ensure all communications adhere to regulatory standards
Skills You Bring:
- 8+ years’ experience in corporate communications, including internal and executive communications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute innovative communication strategies
- Expertise in project management
- Strong copy-editing skills and attention to detail, along with an outstanding ability to translate ideas into clear messaging
- Ability to build relationships and work across all levels and functions
- Adept at coordinating multiple projects simultaneously ensuring timely delivery while maintaining high quality and creativity
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint & Word expertise, SharePoint, and Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience using digital communication tools and platforms to enhance messaging and drive engagement
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently
