Opportunity:

Liftoff is seeking an experienced senior marketing manager to lead the development and execution of innovative global marketing strategies. In this role, you will oversee a diverse range of campaigns and marketing activations across email, webinars, content, events, and paid media. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with sales priorities and business goals.

The ideal candidate is a creative, strategic, and data-driven leader with 6+ years of B2B marketing experience and a proven track record of success in digital and partner marketing. This is a unique opportunity to shape Liftoff’s global thought leadership, manage strategic partnerships, and lead a high-performing team that drives brand visibility and business growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute global marketing campaigns across email, webinars, content, research reports, and paid media, highlighting Liftoff’s thought leadership and driving engagement with prospects, customers, and partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, product marketing, brand, event teams) to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Manage key partnerships, PR, and vendor relationships, providing strategic recommendations to enhance partnerships and maximize value for Liftoff.
  • Lead global thought leadership initiatives, setting the vision and overseeing strategic campaigns to position Liftoff as an industry leader.
  • Support regional marketing efforts for customer summits, conferences, and events to drive brand engagement and visibility.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize marketing strategies for maximum impact.
  • Oversee the global digital strategy, ensuring timely delivery of event pages, decks, case studies, and blog posts.
  • Guide and manage the content team, ensuring the production of high-quality, impactful work that aligns with business goals.
  • Analyze and optimize marketing performance, leveraging data to measure success and continuously improve programs.
  • Manage website updates and other digital properties, optimizing for user experience and performance.

Skills:

  • Proven B2B marketing leadership: Proven track record with 6+ years of experience in high-tech marketing, experience in the mobile app industry a plus.
  • Holistic marketing expertise: An understanding of how to build and execute a unified, multi-channel marketing strategy that integrates digital, event, content, and partner marketing to drive business objectives and enhance brand visibility across global markets.
  • Partner and digital marketing expertise: Excellent writing skills. Demonstrated success in leading partner, digital and content marketing programs within a B2B environment. Experience with all segment sizes, from Enterprise to SMB.
  • Team management: 3+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing marketing teams.
  • Data-driven approach: Strong analytical skills to measure campaign performance, identify insights, and optimize strategies.
  • Technical proficiency: In-depth understanding of marketing technologies (automation platforms, website tools, analytics, CRM) and website management.
  • Innovative and growth mindset: Forward-thinking and continuously seeking ways to improve and innovate
  • Communication and collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
  • Business acumen: Deep understanding of customer needs and ability to translate them into effective marketing campaigns.

Location:
This role is eligible for full-time remote work in one of our entities: CA, CO, ID, IL, FL, GA, MA, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OR, TX, UT, and WA.

We are a remote-first company with US hubs in Redwood City, Los Angeles, and New York City.

Travel Expectations:
We offer several opportunities for in-person team gatherings, including but not limited to project meetings, regional meetups, and company-wide events. We expect our employees to attend these gatherings at least once per quarter. These gatherings provide essential opportunities for collaboration, communication, and team building.

Compensation:
Liftoff offers all employees a full compensation package that includes equity and health/vision/dental benefits associated with your country of residence. Base compensation will vary based on the candidate's location and experience.

The following are our base salary ranges for this role: 

  • SF Bay Area, NYC, Los Angeles/Orange County: $130,000 - $160,000 plus bonus
  • Seattle/Olympia, Austin, San Diego, Santa Barbara, Boston: $120,000 - $150,000 plus bonus 
  • All other cities and towns in our approved states: $110,000 - $140,000 plus bonus

Liftoff's Compensation Strategy

Liftoff's compensation strategy includes competitive market rate along with equity and benefits and perks that will give our employees what they need to do their best work. In order to ensure teams are compensated fairly for the work performed, we map out specific levels and take into consideration the cost of labor within each location. Liftoff provides employees a total compensation package of competitive market salaries, equity, health and wellness stipends, medical benefits associated with your country of residence. The base compensation will vary based on location, experience as well as level.
