Position Summary
Plan Sponsor Reporting and Analytics is searching for an experienced analyst to support customer reporting and analysis for one of Aetna's large customers, supporting both their Commercial and Medicare plans. The analyst will use various data and reporting sources to field requests for information and reports.
- This role requires reporting is in aggregate as well as at the individual customer level. The primary responsibility within this position is to manage all necessary reporting and information required to adequately support these customers.
- The individual will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of data quality of the information provided as well as coordinating and performing detailed medical cost analysis as needed.
- The role will require a detailed technical understanding of the Aetna data warehouse and the ability to thoughtfully produce, manipulate and analyze large amounts of data.
- The role will require creating multiple presentations per year to support business reviews. The candidate will need to be able to articulate results in a clear, concise and compelling manner.
- The individual in this position will work with a cross functional team and will be required to develop a strong partnerships with the Aetna Clinical Program Consultant and account teams.
- The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the healthcare industry including benefit plans, strong technical and communication skills and be able to management multiple priorities and deadlines in a face-paced environment. In addition, the candidate should be able to break down and deliver on complex data requests.
Location
- This is a work-from-home position, with occasional need to travel to meet with plan sponsors (0-10% of the time).
- One may live anywhere in the United States, but must work Eastern Time Zone hours.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of related work experience
- 3+ years experience with healthcare reporting and analysis
- In depth knowledge of healthcare concepts
- Experience in both Commercial and Medicare Advantage Plans is a plus
- Strong technical skills in Excel, PowerPoint
- SQL skills required, SAS skills preferred
- Strong communication skills. Able to articulate (verbally and written) complex business results, issues and strategies in a clear, concise and confident manner
- Ability to work independently as well as in a cross functional team environment.

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$82,940.00 - $182,549.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
