You will help shape and grow the Architecture & Design Sales function by building strong partnerships, developing scalable processes, and creating a cohesive approach across the Outdoors division.

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience working within the A&D channel, a strong understanding of specification-driven sales, and established industry relationships that can help expand market opportunities and long-term partnerships.

We value individuals who can Think Fast, using insight and curiosity to identify opportunities; Work It Together, building strong relationships and partnerships across teams and customers; and Make the Hard Call, approaching decisions with accountability, empathy, and sound judgment.

POSITION LOCATION: This position is remote eligible and requires up to 50% domestic travel to support customer engagement. Candidates must reside near a major airport to accommodate travel requirements.

What you will be doing:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and lead the Architecture & Design sales strategy across all Outdoors brands.
  • Create a unified approach for engaging architects, designers, and specification partners across brands and markets.
  • Identify market trends, customer insights, and specification opportunities that support long-term business growth.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product Management, R&D, Engineering, Sales, and Marketing to align on customer needs and future product direction.
  • Help establish scalable processes and structure that support the continued growth of the A&D Sales function.

Team Leadership

  • Lead, mentor, and support the team through collaboration, coaching, and ongoing development.
  • Foster an inclusive and relationship-focused team environment centered on shared success and customer partnership.
  • Support organizational growth by helping build effective processes, communication, and team alignment.

Sales & Market Engagement

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with architects, designers, specification writers, and industry partners nationwide.
  • Leverage existing industry relationships and networks to expand specification opportunities and strengthen customer engagement.
  • Support account development efforts and help grow brand presence within commercial and residential design communities.
  • Serve as a player/coach by balancing leadership responsibilities with active customer engagement and project support.
  • Support specification activity through CRM management, project follow-up, and ongoing communication with the design community.

Training & Education

  • Deliver presentations and facilitate AIA-accredited continuing education programs for architects and designers.
  • Support and evolve training programs that strengthen customer engagement, product awareness, and specification growth.
  • Encourage knowledge-sharing and collaboration across teams and partners.

Collaboration & Decision Making

  • Work collaboratively across teams to support shared business goals and strengthen alignment across the Outdoors division.
  • Help prioritize opportunities and guide strategic decisions that support long-term growth and customer relationships.
  • Make thoughtful, informed decisions that balance customer needs, team priorities, and business objectives.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in architectural specification, outside sales, or architecture & design engagement roles.
  • 5+ years of leadership or people management experience, including coaching and team development.
  • Extensive experience working with architects, designers, and specification professionals within commercial and residential markets.
  • Strong understanding of the architectural sales cycle, specification process, and specification-driven sales strategy.
  • Demonstrated success building customer relationships and growing specification opportunities within the A&D channel.
  • Experience developing strategic initiatives, improving processes, and supporting organizational growth.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
