Description

Do you bring a proven track record as a commercially focused product manager? Do you have direct knowledge working with Genomic applications or diagnostics for hereditary cancer solutions?

If this sounds like you and you are driven by purpose, Join the SOPHiA GENETICS Application Product Management Team as a Senior / Manager for our Hereditary Cancer applications, and enable us to make a positive impact on the outcomes for cancer and rare disease patients worldwide.

Ideally, you will be in proximity to our US (Boston) or Switzerland (Rolle) Corporate offices on a hybrid work-schedule, however suitably qualified candidates can be considered on a remote basis across the US-North East or East Coast.

Due to high collaboration and team structure within Europe, this role may not suit someone working remotely from the US West Coast.

Your mission:

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Application Product Management, you will help lead the strategic direction and execution for hereditary cancer product lines. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product success in a competitive market.

The value you'll add

  • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to launch for Small & Targeted Panels across hereditary cancer applications.
  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with company goals and market needs.
  • Engage with customers and stakeholders to gather insights and feedback.
  • Drive product positioning, messaging, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and R&D for successful product development and commercialization.
Requirements

What you'll bring:

  • 2+ years of product management experience, preferably in diagnostics or healthcare
  • Direct experience managing a portfolio of products across multiple stages in the commercial lifecycle
  • Experience with Hereditary cancer applications critical, with knowledge of rare disease portfolios beneficial
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • BSc, MSc, or equivalent in a relevant scientific or technical field

As a public organisation facing ongoing commercial growth, you will bring a success-orientated and solutions-focused mindset that embraces team collaborations, change, growth and inclusion.

As an international organisation, English is our primary business language and as part of your recruitment journey, you should expect to meet English-only speakers. For best chances of success, you should include your CV in English. Unfortunately, non-English CVs have a high likelihood of being rejected at application stage.
