Job Description:

Position Description: 

 

Deploys Tableau dashboards on Amazon Web Services (AWS), adhering to dashboard governance programs and dashboard development standards. Performs data analytics, data visualization, and business intelligence using Tableau Desktop and Server technologies. Designs and develops scalable ETL pipelines against cloud using Snowflake. Writes high quality SQL code to retrieve and analyze large set of data against both cloud and on-premises databases using relational database technologies -- Snowflake and Oracle. Tracks issues and automates workflows using JIRA and Confluence in an Agile development environment. 

 

Primary Responsibilities: 

 

  • Performs data analysis and data modeling and leverages Artificial Intelligence (AI) to deliver advanced data solutions and improve customers’ digital experiences.  

  • Builds and publishes customized interactive reports and dashboards. 

  • Delivers comprehensive dashboard solutions by collaborating with various Product Owners and the Engineering communities. 

  • Implements full life-cycle methodology, including change management processes, to ensure changes are properly tested and migrated to production. 

  • Analyzes, manipulates, and processes large sets of data using statistical software. 

  • Recommends data-driven solutions to key stakeholders and identifies trends or facts that could affect the results of research. 

  • Compiles and catalogs business intelligence solutions and artifacts. 

 

Education and Experience: 

 

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and five (5) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, building, and testing scalable data analytics and automated dashboards (cloud or on-premise databases) using (SQL or Python) and Tableau.  

 

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Financial Mathematics, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Manager, Advanced Data Analytics and Insights (or closely related occupation) designing, developing, building, and testing scalable data analytics and automated dashboards (cloud or on-premise databases) using (SQL or Python) and Tableau. 

 

Skills and Knowledge: 

 

Candidate must also possess: 

 

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) designing, deploying, and implementing data mining and data analytics solutions using Amazon Web Service (AWS), Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Snowflake; and delivering customized solutions for on-premises databases (Teradata or Oracle) using SQL or Python. 

  • DE designing and developing intuitive dashboards and business and data analytics reports; providing business and operational insights using Tableau or Power BI; and transforming raw data into actionable information to enable data-driven decision making and optimal business outcomes using SQL or Tableau. 

  • DE implementing business rules to enhance customer experiences; employing visual data analytics using Tableau or Power BI; translating business requirements into technical validations; and examining data for accuracy, quality, and condition using SQL or Python. 

  • DE performing functional, integration, and report testing to ensure the accuracy of the business reports; validating data completeness, constraints, and duplication using SQL; validating measures and dimensions for real-time custom reporting, using SQL and Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Qlik Sense, and QlikView); and identifying and rectifying discrepancies in the business reports.
