At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-time; others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or meetings.
This position is not eligible to be performed in Alaska, Mississippi, North Dakota, or the Virgin Islands.
GoDaddy is not currently considering candidates for this role in California, Seattle, or NYC.

Commerce is a top priority for GoDaddy and growing this through our reseller partnerships is a critical initiative to help us scale. Our reseller partners range from globally recognized brands to new ISVs (integrated software vendors). You will help GoDaddy and our partners achieve mutual targets selling payments and commerce solutions to millions of small businesses.
The ideal candidate is a self-starter with grit and enjoys winning new businesses. You will be a key member of the reseller commercial team. We’re looking for an experienced Senior Manager, Account Development who has a track record of driving revenue through acquiring new partners. This is a full-time salaried position with an opportunity to earn commission.
What you'll get to do...
- Build and refine the GTM playbook and sales strategy and work with Marketing to craft and execute on campaigns and sales collateral
- Generate new business and proactively own your pipeline of predominantly self-generated leads using Salesforce to meet or exceed annual targets
- Travel to events/conferences to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities
- Lead the entire sales cycle (including RFP processes) from lead generation to meeting with clients, developing value propositions, proposing solutions, commercials, contract negotiation, and closing
- Build a business model and forecast for new deals to inform and structure commercials
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams, project managers, and technical experts to ensure seamless transition from sales to partner onboarding and implementation
- Continuously refine messaging, value proposition and positioning based on learnings from partner interactions and engagements
- Participate in annual/quarterly planning and forecasting
Your experience should include...
- 7+ years of experience in a business discipline which could include experiences in business development, consulting, or sales that included external-facing engagement with customers or partners
- Ability to build the pipeline with self-generated leads
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and winning new businesses, with strong cross-team management ability to mobilize large teams outside your immediate department to close deals
- Strong commercial acumen to build business models and forecast for new deals
- Ability to develop robust product knowledge and associated technical understanding
- Exceptional communicator and presenter with shown ability to establish relationships with executive decision makers, balancing business and technical conversations effectively
- Experience in results-driven, entrepreneurial work environments
