🌟 Your Impact at Lila
You will drive full-cycle recruitment of top-tier machine learning researchers and engineers — competing for candidates from leading academic institutions and frontier labs worldwide — to accelerate Lila’s AI-driven discovery platform.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Building

  • Sourcing and placing ML researchers across subfields (LLM, RL, Generative AI)
  • Building and maintaining global candidate pipelines
  • Designing role-specific interview frameworks and technical assessments
  • Partnering with R&D leadership on talent planning and market insights
  • Optimizing candidate experience: feedback loops, offers, and closing strategies
  • Analyzing recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, slates, source efficacy)

🧰 What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Engineering, or related; PhD a plus
  • 3–5+ years’ experience recruiting ML/AI research talent
  • Strong network in the ML research community (NeurIPS, ICML, etc.)
  • Proven ability to attract passive candidates at top labs and tech companies
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills

Bonus Points For

  • International recruiting experience across multiple regions
  • Familiarity with ML frameworks or research publications
  • Experience on compensation benchmarking for technical roles
