Senior Machine Learning Engineer

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will spearhead our machine learning efforts as well as our advanced statistics models to drive our pricing, recommendation systems, and recruiting initiatives. Broadly speaking, the mandate is to leverage IntelyCare's data to improve the experience of both our customers and clients.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Technical ownership of IntelyCare’s pricing algorithm
- Build and design additional algorithms to identify “markets” and to improve our internal reporting, pricing, and recruiting
- Partner with software engineers to develop “smart” products and features
- Lead and design careful experiments to measure the impact of new products or interventions
- Support data projects from various teams to ensure accuracy, scalability, and interpretability
Qualifications
- Sound understanding of machine learning fundamentals
- Strong command of statistical inference, hypothesis testing, and/or econometrics
- Extremely comfortable in Python
- Significant SQL expertise
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of statistics - Bayesian and/or frequentist methods
- Mastery of advanced machine learning concepts (e.g. deep learning, reinforcement learning)
- Meticulous habits for legible and intuitive code organization and documentation
- Software development experience (unit tests, APIs)
- A github repo is a big bonus!
