  • Ensure accurate inventory records in coordination with inventory management teams and ERP tools (e.g., NetSuite).
  • Lead planning, scheduling, and execution of all inbound/outbound shipments, ensuring timely delivery to project sites.
  • Streamline vendor shipment management through cross-functional coordination with Procurement, Project Management, and Field Ops teams.
  • Recruit and manage carrier networks (including contract carriers) for project-specific needs.
  • Develop and execute contingency and risk mitigation plans around capacity constraints, supplier delays, and site accessibility issues.
  • Serve as the NetSuite logistics operations lead, ensuring workflows, customizations, and data hygiene support efficient logistics execution.
  • Continuously optimize system usage and train team members on best practices for ERP-driven operations.
  • Own training and upskilling logistics team members on ERP workflows, dashboards, and reporting tools.
  • Negotiate and manage logistics-related contracts and partnerships.
  • Monitor and approve freight, storage, and transport invoices; ensure alignment with budget and expectations.
  • Use tools like Coupa for spend oversight and cost reduction analysis.
  • May manage 1–3 direct reports (e.g., logistics coordinators), fostering professional development and performance management.
  • Serve as a key liaison between Logistics and other departments, ensuring real-time operational transparency and alignment.
  • Act as an escalation path for logistics issues across the org; represent logistics in cross-functional planning forums.

What you’ll bring:

  • 7+ years of experience with 3+ years of people management experience.
  • Experience managing 3PL and freight carriers.
  • Experience managing RFPs for Carriers & 3PLs.
  • Experience with WMS systems.
  • Commitment to Nexamp's mission and have a passion for solving tomorrow's climate crisis today.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization. We value accountability and an ownership mentality.
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify the root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
