Professional Learning at the IB transforms education practice to impact student learning. Our products are delivered to a global community of educators. The Senior Learning Production Associate Manager plays a pivotal role in managing the production of complex multi-workstream initiatives at a level that requires minimal supervision and support. The Senior Learning Production Associate Manager ensures that products are developed and delivered on schedule. The role employs best practices for project management, product tracking, and system implementation in collaboration with other team members in EDD. This is a key role with a high level of interaction with colleagues, vendors, employees, and external consultants. It involves agile and flexible work to ensure that priorities are determined and solutions are developed as implementation challenges arise. This role is suited to a strong, self-directed manager experienced in working with multiple levels of stakeholders, with experience in production and working with subject matter experts at scale.
Responsibilities- Manage the development of multiple products for the Professional Learning portfolio and complex initiatives, including multiple workstreams.
- Track products through development phases by creating and updating workplans, reports, risk logs, project communications, and progress dashboards.
- Identify, track, and mitigate risks and issues to keep products on schedule and aligned to quality expectations.
- Facilitate scoping and kick-off meetings with internal stakeholders and project team members.
- Coordinate access to project systems and support materials, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint libraries, development templates, and project plans.
- Identify, contract, and coordinate consultants and subject matter experts to support development of learning module content.
- Manage project budgets, payment cycles, procurement activity, invoicing, purchase order coordination, and reporting for assigned products.
- Maintain project communication and stakeholder updates across internal teams, external partners, vendors, and consultants.
- Collaborate with Professional Learning team members to improve processes, policies, project tracking, and capacity planning.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to ensure learning modules and related assets are delivered on time, within budget, and to IB quality standards.
- Significant relevant experience in project management of complex systems, projects, procedures, and process establishment.
- Demonstrable professional experience in an education environment.
- Proven experience managing the development of learning content in a matrix structure, at scale, on time, and within budget.
- Strong project management capability, including use of project management tools, dashboards, status documentation, and stakeholder reporting.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, competing deadlines, and complex workstreams with flexibility and adaptability.
- Excellent command of the English language, with well-developed communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and foster productive, collaborative working relationships across all levels of an organization.
- Demonstrated experience of managing change in an international and fast-changing work environment.
- Desirable: fluency in writing or speaking a second language, preferably Spanish, French, or another IB access language.
