About this role:
The Senior Lead Wealth Planning Strategist is a key contributor within Wealth & Investment Management, responsible for deepening and expanding relationships with high-net-worth (HNW) and ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) clients, as well as attracting new client relationships with $10MM+ in investable assets. This role serves as a strategic advisor, delivering comprehensive, customized wealth planning, wealth transfer, tax-efficient strategies, and multi-generational planning solutions to sophisticated clients.

$185,000.00 - $300,000.00

This role serves as a strategic advisor, delivering comprehensive, customized wealth planning, wealth transfer, tax-efficient strategies, and multi-generational planning solutions to sophisticated clients.
In this role, you will:
- Provide high-impact, customized wealth planning advice to clients and prospects through deep discovery and understanding of financial goals, investment objectives, family dynamics, and long-term planning needs.
- Partner with Advisors to identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities with HNW and UHNW clients.
- Deliver comprehensive planning across key areas including:
- Cash flow analysis
- Insurance analysis and risk management
- Education funding strategies
- Executive compensation and stock option planning
- Asset allocation and portfolio analysis
- Income tax planning strategies
- Charitable and philanthropic planning
- Business succession strategies
- Asset protection and estate planning / wealth transfer strategies
- Act as a subject-matter expert to clients and Advisors on advanced planning concepts, wealth structuring, and wealth planning solutions.
- Coach and educate Advisors to help them independently deliver financial planning guidance to a broader base of clients.
- Prioritize collaboration with Advisors who serve the firm's largest and most complex client relationships, ensuring tailored planning and elevated client experience.
- Present sophisticated planning recommendations in a clear, actionable, and client-friendly manner during client meetings.
- Work closely with internal and external partners to promote wealth planning, elevate planning engagement, and support market-level business development strategies.
- Maintain consistent adherence to all risk management, planning protocols, and compliance procedures.
- 7+ years of Wealth Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 10+ years of comprehensive financial planning experience serving HNW and UHNW clients, including financial planning, goals-based strategies, private banking, retirement strategies, and specialized U/HNW solutions.
- 10+ years of wealth transfer, estate planning, and advanced planning experience working with UHNW clients and complex family structures.
- Advanced degrees and/or professional designations strongly preferred, such as:
- J.D.
- MBA
- M.S. in Taxation
- CPA
- Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA)
- Significant experience serving clients in the $25MM+ net-worth segment, with demonstrated success building long-term advisory relationships.
- Established professional network and strong local market presence in assigned market(s).
- Hybrid work environment
- Ability to travel up to 25%
