As a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you'll lead a small engineering team delivering solutions that put AI to work in production, customer-facing applications, solving meaningful customer and business problems in a high-scale, regulated environment.
This is a hands-on engineering role. You'll own technical design and key engineering decisions, contribute directly to implementation, and guide the team from experimentation through secure, reliable production delivery. What You'll Do
- Lead the technical design and delivery of customer-facing applications and specialized AI solutions from concept through production.
- Stay deeply hands-on in engineering, contributing to implementation, code reviews, troubleshooting, and technical problem solving.
- Build and customize AI agents, including the context, prompts, MCP servers/tools, and integrations required for them to operate effectively.
- Design and build scalable services using C#/.NET, AWS, and modern distributed-system architectures.
- Work across back-end, AI integration, and platform boundaries, including integrations with internal systems and external vendors.
- Lead a small team of engineers through technical direction, mentoring, design discussions, and delivery.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, business stakeholders, platform teams, and external partners to understand domain-specific customer problems and turn them into practical technical solutions.
- Drive solutions to meet the reliability, security, observability, and operational standards required for high-scale, regulated customer-facing systems.
- Be highly proficient with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Codex across coding, technical design, analysis, and problem solving.
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- At least 7 years of professional software engineering experience, with strong hands-on expertise in C#/.NET.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS and delivering scalable production solutions in the cloud.
- Experience leading engineers and owning technical direction while remaining actively involved in implementation.
- Experience working in large, distributed environments where cloud services, internal platforms, and external vendor systems must operate reliably together.
- Strong proficiency with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude and Codex.
- Interest in, or experience with, building AI agents, MCP tools, and Context Engineering. Deep prior AI-agent expertise is not required if you bring strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to learn quickly.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to dive deeply into business domains and customer problems.
