About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Lead Control Management Officer
In this role, you will:
  • Act as an advisor to more experienced leaders in developing risk mitigation strategies for complex and highly integrated business specific risk across different business lines
  • Monitor, measure, evaluate, and report impact of decisions and business controls to the relevant business group and enterprise function
  • Lead the strategy and resolution of highly complex current and emerging risks requiring in depth evaluation across multiple areas or the enterprise, as well as good understanding of financial crimes, operational risk, audit, legal, credit risk, market risk, IT systems security, and business process management
  • Provide vision, direction, and expertise to more experienced leaders on implementing innovative and significant business solutions for highly complex risks associated with business operations
  • Lead and mentor Control Management project or virtual teams
  • Engage with all levels of roles across the business group, and serve as an experienced advisor in designing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, business processes, and controls that mitigate risks and address regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of Risk Management or Financial Services Industry experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Risk & Control Expertise - Deep knowledge of Issue Management and Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) processes.
  • Control Design & Remediation - Proven experience in designing, monitoring, and remediating internal controls to ensure compliance and effectiveness with emphasis of control simplification.
  • Stakeholder Engagement - Strong interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders, including experience in virtual and matrixed leadership environments.
  • Leadership in Risk Programs - Demonstrated leadership and program management skills to align stakeholders and deliver consistent, end-to-end risk management solutions and controls.
  • Enterprise Risk Framework Knowledge - Solid understanding of enterprise risk management, including risk identification, appetite and strategy, decision-making, controls, analytics, and governance.
  • Executive Communication - Experience developing and delivering presentations tailored for executive-level audiences.
  • Adaptability & Change Management - Ability and agility to thrive in ambiguous environments with a focus on continuous process improvement and leading change initiatives.
  • Commercial Banking Operations controls experience
  • Operational Efficiencies - Proven ability to manage projects, optimize processes, and drive operational excellence.
Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$159,000.00 - $279,000.00
