Role Description
Manhattan Associates is seeking an experienced software engineer who will be responsible for,
Design, development, testing and support of Demand Forecasting and Inventory Optimization components on cloud native platform .
Passionate about automation , design patterns & coding idioms to help innovate with speed @ quality.
Practicing Agile SCRUM principles in small sized cross geo component teams having 2-week delivery cadence
Position Required Skills
BE/BTech degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent higher education
5+ years software development experience ( prior experience in Microservice architecture with good understanding of microservices design patterns along with sync / async communications )
Experienced professional contributor with responsibility for an advanced area of work in J2EE and distributed architecture on cloud. Should have prior experience of working on Cloud native architecture which he can bring to the team as learnings (especially design for failures).
Experience or demonstrable knowledge of the following: Spring boot Framework and Spring Cloud technologies
Knowledgeable on AMQP messaging protocol and should have hands on experience using Rabbit MQ / ActiveMQ as AMQP Messaging Layer in his technical tenure.
Solid experience with source code control system like Git/GitHub or Bitbucket (or equivalent)
Hands on experience of using container based technologies like Dockers is a plus.
Good oral and written communication is a must
