Your Mission
As the Senior Interoperability and Integration Lead, you will be responsible for the successful implementation of integration projects between the SOPHiA DDM Platform and external systems of the customer base of SOPHiA GENETICS. You will work cross-functionally to ensure smooth execution of projects to set up diagnostic workflows integrating seamlessly with the SOPHiA DDM platform, from initiation to completion. You will operate as a "working manager", combining strong people leadership with hands-on ownership of the most complex and strategic projects, and acting as the primary regional counterpart to Sales and other commercial stakeholders. Alongside Sales colleagues you will be interacting with representatives from prestigious hospitals and clinical labs to understand customer needs and to pitch integrated workflow solutions. You will be translating customer needs into architectural proposals and requirements for internal software engineering teams and oversee implementation, go-live process and post-go-live support period for flawless routine operations.

- Refine and execute systems interoperability architecture and processes for SOPHiA GENETICS

- Act as internal subject area expert for lab workflows & integrations
- Vendor relations & management - manage integration partnership and expectations
- Triage & assist in roadmap planning for SOPHiA DDM platformand features
Requirements
- 5+ years of Project Management experience leading cross-functional implementation projects in a clinical setting
- Strong hands-on experience integrating discrete variant information via HL7 v2/3
- Deep knowledge of data Interoperability standards: HL7 v2/v3, FHIR, SMART on FHIR
- Security & Compliance: Understanding of HIPAA, GDPR, and secure coding standard methodologies
- Clinical Systems: Integration experience with EHRs like Epic, Cerner, and other clinical or LIMS/LIS platforms
- Clear communication skills
- Ability to have efficient project strategy and architecture alignment discussions with stakeholders of varied backgrounds - executives to technical colleagues
- Collaborative
- Fast learner, rapidly building knowledge in a fast-evolving field
Nice to have:
- Software development experience with Python and/or Java
- Cloud: Native development in Azure and/or AWS, including serverless, IAM, and containerized services
- Development & Collaboration Tools: Atlassian suite (JIRA, Confluence), GitHub, GitLab, and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
