We are looking for a Senior Intelligence Analyst to leverage Flashpoint’s industry-leading data and human-centric insights to map the global threat landscape. In this role, you will operate as a high-touch expert, utilizing advanced OSINT tradecraft and scripting to stay ahead of fast-evolving adversaries. You will have the autonomy to pursue transnational investigations wherever the data leads, delivering speed to insight that protects national security interests worldwide.

We have a role for you if, you:

  • Leverage a proven track record of delivering actionable intelligence in support of high-impact national security missions, with the agility to rapidly pivot focus across dynamic global geographic regions as intelligence requirements evolve.

  • Have advanced Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) experience and Deep & Dark Web (DDW) research experience.

  • Have experience engaging with threat actors in online communities and maintaining credible online personas.

  • Possess an advanced understanding of network and telecommunications technologies and topologies.

  • Have an intermediate- to advanced-level understanding of scripting languages and command line interfaces and experience using these tools to manipulate and format large datasets.

  • Have produced accurate investigations and key judgments for finished intelligence reports and present complex findings to wide audiences, including community calls and executive-level briefings.

  • Possess a high level of motivation, a positive attitude, and a strong willingness to be a self-starter who can learn new skills and effectively execute tasks and responsibilities independently, while collaborating with other team members on more complex tasks.

What you will get to do on our team:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis across OSINT and Deep & Dark Web (DDW) sources to develop intelligence on threats to national security.

  • Conduct proactive, covert engagement with threat actors across diverse underground environments and chat services, employing advanced attribution management techniques to safely elicit critical intelligence and identify emerging risks.

  • Proactively monitor and collect high-signal data from illicit marketplaces, forums, and encrypted chat platforms, using specialized keywords/patterns within Flashpoint tools to support intelligence investigations.

  • Utilize Flashpoint's industry-leading proprietary platform and external OSINT tools to rigorously synthesize complex data, support diverse intelligence tasks, and drive high-impact analysis and alerting.

  • Drive intelligence outcomes by synthesizing raw data to assess credibility and deduce client relevance, delivering high-quality analytic judgments and supporting essential client deliverables and intelligence requirements.

  • Safely navigate virtual environments and articulate required security safeguards while supporting assigned tasks and complying with Flashpoint org-wide and Intel team policies and procedures, including Rules of Engagement.

  • Support intelligence requirements gathering, identify and follow established internal procedures for closing collection gaps, and nominate new collection sources while maintaining a nuanced understanding of Flashpoint’s collection systems operations.

  • Create finished intelligence reports and products and peer review the finished intelligence products of others for analytical accuracy and conformity with Flashpoint report writing standards.

  • Drive community engagement by presenting at community calls and proactively proposing new and relevant content for external publication.

  • Act as the lead for internal subject matter expert projects/initiatives and ensure effective knowledge sharing by documenting team processes/procedures and facilitating job-specific guidance for new and junior team members.

What you will achieve

Within 30 days

  • You will have been fully onboarded and integrated into a team of professional intelligence analysts and assigned a mentor to guide you through your initial journey at Flashpoint. Your team will have provided you with access, resources, and training necessary to begin tackling deliverables.

Within 60 days

  • You will have become familiarized with all of Flashpoints processes and become comfortable with taking on additional tasks and deliverables.

By 90 days

  • You will have carried out your own investigations in support of intelligence requirements and drafted and published the findings from these initial investigations within Flashpoint intelligence platform.

  • You will have become familiar with teams outside of your own team and begun building working relationships to assist you to become successful in your career.

  • You will have become completely comfortable with handling day-to-day deliverables and tasks on your own and become proficient in your abilities to work without supervision or on a team.

To be successful in this role, you will need

  • Strong experience as an intelligence analyst within the public sector.

  • Advanced knowledge of OSINT tradecraft and methodology.

  • Experience with scripting languages and task automation.

  • Strong writing ability with experience in writing and drafting finished intelligence products.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
