About the Role
Apollo is looking for a Senior Integrated Content Strategist to help lead our content engine, from foundational strategy to hands-on execution. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role for a senior builder who can set bold strategy and also create content that directly drives growth. You’ll shape how Apollo shows up to the world, fueling awareness, pipeline, and adoption, while pioneering an AI-powered model for modern GTM content operations.
This is a rare opportunity to help rebuild a modern content marketing function from the ground up and make an immediate impact. From auditing what exists, to architecting what’s next, and piloting how we scale faster, smarter, and more creatively, with AI at the core.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute to a full-funnel content strategy with content across formats: from long-form pieces and thought leadership to short-form video, interactive tools, and sales enablement.
- Audit, edit, and reuse existing Apollo content, making recommendations based on performance, accuracy, and strategic fit.
- Build and refine Apollo’s editorial pillars to ensure consistency across themes such as AI, automation, sales acceleration, and data quality.
- Embed AI across the content lifecycle, using tools to accelerate ideation (e.g., topic clustering), creation (e.g., repurposing assets), optimization (e.g., SEO enhancement), and personalization (e.g., segment-specific variants).
- Partner with Growth, Product Marketing, and Sales to create content serving campaigns and driving core business outcomes: pipeline, adoption, and engagement.
- Lead distribution-minded planning, designing content for multi-use across social, lifecycle email, in-product education, paid media, and outbound.
- Optimize our chances to reach relevant audiences, including distribution-minded planning, helping to build intuitive user experiences, and designing content for multi-use.
- Help architect the future-state UX of Apollo’s content entities, with intuitive navigation, modular structure, and integration of mixed media (e.g., embedded video, downloadable assets, interactive tools).
- Analyze and optimize content performance, turning data into action to amplify impact.
What We’re Looking For
- 8-10 years of experience in content strategy, editorial planning, or integrated marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or a fast-growing startup.
- Proven success in building and executing content strategies that span the funnel and move the needle, from brand awareness to conversion.
- Has a portfolio spanning multiple formats, including thought leadership, sales enablement assets, SEO content, video scripts, and frameworks/templates.
- Deep familiarity with content distribution best practices across paid, organic, email, in-product, and lifecycle channels.
- Enthusiastic about the potential of AI tools to speed up production, improve personalization, and enhance SEO performance.
- Excellent cross-functional collaboration skills, able to connect the dots across product, brand, growth, and sales.
- Analytical mindset, you’re comfortable using data to refine what gets built, how it’s distributed, and how it performs.
- Bonus if you’ve led or contributed to content hub UX (e.g., designing IA or structure for editorial experiences).
