As an Infrastructure & Cloud Engineer, you will be tasked with ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our organization's infrastructure, including network and servers. Your primary responsibilities will involve handling the configuration, upkeep, and reliable functioning of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization. This will involve configuring and installing network and server components and actively participating in research and development initiatives to enhance our infrastructure. Your expertise will play a vital role in meeting the ongoing IT requirements of our organization and ensuring the seamless operation of our network and server systems. 


Responsibilities
  • Configuring and administering cloud-based virtualized servers and storage solutions, including virtual machines and cloud storage, to optimize performance, reliability, and resource allocation
  • Managing and maintaining on-premises virtualization platforms, hypervisors, and storage arrays to ensure efficient resource utilization and system reliability
  • Monitoring network performance and optimizing network resources to ensure efficient and reliable operation
  • Implementing automated solutions for system updates, patch management, and firmware upgrades to ensure servers and computer systems remain secure, compliant, and up to date with the latest enhancements
  • Configuring Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, including setting up policies, security controls, and device enrollment procedures to centrally manage and secure mobile devices used within the organization
  • Administrating and managing various Software as a Service (SaaS) application, including user administration, access control, configuration, and troubleshooting, to ensure their smooth operation and alignment with business needs

Requirements
  • 6-10 years of system administration experience of both on-premises and cloud infrastructure 
  • Proven experience administering Domain Controllers, Active Directory, DNS, and Group Policy – Must
  • Proven experience in managing datacenter infrastructure
  • Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
  • Working knowledge of virtualization, VMWare, Nutanix or equivalent
  • Experience with scripting and automation tools such as Bash, Python and PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with cloud identity management, virtual machine administration, and system operations across AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM) and Azure (Virtual Machines, Blob Storage, Azure SQL, Azure AD) - An advantage
  • Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols
  • Bachelor's degree or certifications in computer science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field
