In this role, you will:
- Lead and manage complex security projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance requirements.
- Develop and maintain detailed security program roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, including IT, DevOps, Risk, and Compliance, to ensure timely execution of security initiatives.
- Track and report on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Support security architecture and engineering efforts by translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Drive adoption of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, CIS Controls).
- Facilitate risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.
- Contribute to policy development, security awareness training, and audit readiness.
- 4+ years of Information Security Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 4+ years of experience in information security, with at least 2 years in project or program management capacity.
- Experience tracking and reporting on project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior leadership.
- Ability to drive the adoption of security best practices and frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 7001, CIS Controls).
- Experience with facilitating risk assessments, vulnerability management, and incident response planning.
- Experience maintaining detailed security program roadmaps, timelines, and resource plans.
- Strong understanding of security technologies (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, IAM, endpoint protection).
- Proven experience managing security projects using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or MS Project.
