Position Summary

The Senior Industrial Account Manager is responsible for developing new business and growing strategic OEM relationships across the industrial manufacturing sector. This is a senior-level, customer-facing role for a technical sales professional who understands engineered mechanical components and can build long-term partnerships with Tier 1 and Tier 2 OEM customers.

The ideal candidate has a successful track record selling custom mechanical components, bearings, precision stampings, or similar engineered products while working closely with engineering, procurement, and executive decision makers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and grow business with Tier 1 and Tier 2 industrial OEM customers
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within industrial manufacturing markets
  • Manage strategic customer relationships from prospecting through long-term account development
  • Build relationships with engineering, purchasing, supply chain, and executive stakeholders
  • Understand customer technical requirements and recommend engineered component solutions
  • Prepare quotations, pricing proposals, and commercial agreements
  • Lead contract negotiations and secure long-term supply agreements
  • Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase market share
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to ensure successful project execution
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and account plans
  • Represent the company at customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows as needed

  • Grow revenue through both new business development and expansion of existing OEM accounts
  • Build trusted relationships with engineering, procurement, and executive stakeholders
  • Consistently expand market share through consultative, solution-based selling
  • Secure long-term supply agreements that strengthen customer partnerships
  • Deliver sustainable territory growth while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction


Requirements
  • 10+ years of technical industrial sales experience
  • Proven experience selling custom mechanical components, bearings, precision stampings, or similar engineered products
  • Strong background selling directly to Tier 1 and Tier 2 industrial OEMs
  • Demonstrated success developing new business while expanding existing strategic accounts
  • Experience working with engineering, procurement, supply chain, and executive-level decision makers
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings, manufacturing processes, and customer application requirements
  • Strong consultative sales, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills
  • Willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar sales territories
  • Existing relationships within agricultural equipment, material handling, industrial machinery, or related OEM markets
  • Track record of securing long-term supply agreements
  • Background in precision manufacturing, metal components, or engineered industrial products
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred
