- Configure LIMS/QC software to meet client-specific workflows, regulatory needs (e.g., EPA Tier III, ASTM standards), and lab instrumentation integrations.
- Train end-users—from chemists, lab techs, and other System users—on system functionality, workflows, and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical or process-related issues during implementations.
- Document configuration, SOPs, and project artifacts for knowledge transfer and support readiness.
- Contribute to internal product feedback and improvements based on field experience and customer insights.
- Mentor and support junior implementation team members.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry (required); advanced degree a plus.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in a laboratory setting, ideally within an oil refinery, chemical plant, or environmental/industrial testing lab.
- Deep familiarity with lab processes, regulatory frameworks (e.g., ASTM, EPA), instrumentation, and testing procedures.
- Prior experience implementing or administrating LIMS or QC systems (e.g., Baytek cBliss, LabWare, SampleManager, STARLIMS) is strongly preferred.
- Strong communication skills, with a proven ability to train and support lab users of varying technical backgrounds.
- Strong Problem solving Skills
- Willingness to travel 25–50% to customer locations across North America.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience serving as a LIMS system administrator or leading a software rollout in a lab environment.
- Working knowledge of gasoline blending processes, refinery QC operations, or EPA Tier III compliance workflows.
- Experience developing or maintaining SOPs and managing software validation for regulatory audits.
- Familiarity with project management methodologies or tools (e.g., Gantt charts, Smartsheet, Jira).
