We are seeking a talented and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Implementation Project Lead.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Senior Implementation Project Lead is responsible for managing the full lifecycle of client implementations—from project kickoff through transition to the ongoing delivery team. This role ensures project success by managing timelines, facilitating key meetings, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, and delivering a high-quality implementation experience that exceeds client expectations.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR (Essential Functions)

Project Leadership & Governance
  • Facilitate key implementation meetings, including kickoff, status meetings, and workstream-specific sessions.

  • Execute reporting and governance processes for internal updates, contractual metrics, and service level agreements.

  • Manage timelines to ensure efficient internal operations while keeping executive leadership updated on project execution and governance.

  • Own project plans and governance for assigned clients throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Client & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage client expectations by proactively identifying and mitigating project risks, escalating when appropriate, and communicating realistic turnaround times and delivery dates.

  • Effectively communicate with all critical project stakeholders to keep them informed on status, risks, and key milestones.

  • Ensure key deliverables are completed on time by coordinating across internal teams and supporting cross-functional collaboration.

Risk Management & Issue Resolution
  • Proactively identify and mitigate project and staffing risks.

  • Escalate risks appropriately to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Required Education & Experience)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field

  • Experience with benefits and/or implementation processes and methodologies

  • 3+ years of project management experience

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with internal, external, technical, and non-technical team members

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and brokers

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams

  • Strong problem-solving skills

  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data summaries) and familiarity with other MS Office products

  • High level of productivity, reliability, responsibility, organization, and accuracy

  • Ability to take initiative and approach challenges with creativity, resourcefulness, and a commitment to quality

NICE TO HAVE (Preferred Education & Experience)
  • Project Management certification (PMP, CAPM, Agile, etc.)

  • Experience working with benefits administration platforms or HRIS systems

  • Experience leading cross-functional or technical project teams

Specific benefit offerings vary by position and may be subject to change.

 

Standard working hours are 8am-5pm Central Time, unless otherwise stated in the Job Description. 

 

 

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $90,000$110,000, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses.  If you are hired at bswift, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package!
