What You Will Do:

The Digital Technology HR Partner is a strategic individual contributor who provides human resources leadership to key business initiatives. This role is responsible for driving HR priorities and strategies to support business objectives, including employee engagement, leadership effectiveness, talent acquisition and development, compensation, policy compliance, and employee relations.

The ideal candidate will live within a 60 mile radius of an RTX location based in either the U.S. or Canada.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic Partnership: Partner with senior leadership to activate enterprise-wide people strategies that support business goals and organizational health.

  • Talent Management: Lead talent management processes, including succession planning, talent reviews, performance management, and leadership development for your client groups.

  • Organizational Effectiveness: Provide coaching and strategic thought partnership to leaders on organizational design, change management, and leadership effectiveness.

  • Proactive Solutions: Anticipate workforce needs and proactively shape solutions around talent, organizational structure, and capability.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with HR Centers of Excellence (CoEs) like Talent Acquisition and Total Rewards to ensure the seamless delivery of key HR processes and programs

  • Advisory & Counseling: Advise and counsel leaders and managers to optimize employee engagement, team development, and overall organizational effectiveness.

  • Change Facilitation: Facilitate organizational change and foster the linkage between business objectives and human resources activities.

  • Complex Leadership: Effectively lead within a complex matrix environment, balancing competing priorities and engaging appropriate stakeholders to drive results.

  • Lead specific talent initiatives across all Digital Technology, with strong ties to enterprise-wide Pratt & Whitney and RTX work.

 Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years of progressive HR experience, OR an Advanced Degree and 8+ years of progressive HR experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience as a strategic HR business partner in a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.

  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders to elevate their impact.

  • Proven track record of driving HR priorities that align with business strategy.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
