Creating Open + Decentralized AGI

Prime Intellect is architecting the foundation for decentralized AI. We merge high-performance distributed training with a seamless developer experience, pushing the boundaries of open-source AGI.

We recently raised $15mm in funding (total of $20mm raised) led by Founders Fund, with participation from Menlo Ventures and prominent angels including Andrej Karpathy (Eureka AI, Tesla, OpenAI), Tri Dao (Chief Scientific Officer of Together AI), Dylan Patel (SemiAnalysis), Clem Delangue (Huggingface), Emad Mostaque (Stability AI) and many others.


Role Impact

As Generalist Designer, you will craft Prime Intellect’s visual and interactive presence across every touchpoint—UI, branding, motion, merch, and beyond. This role fuses design with systems thinking, requiring a sharp aesthetic, technical fluency, and an instinct for the cutting edge.


Core Responsibilities

Brand & Visual Identity

  • Define and evolve a visual language that embodies decentralized intelligence

  • Create high-impact graphics, presentations, and marketing assets

  • Design merch and event collateral that extends our brand into the physical world

Web & UI/UX

  • Design intuitive, high-fidelity interfaces for AI researchers and developers

  • Work with engineers to build fluid, performant user experiences

  • Maintain and refine a scalable design system

Multimedia & Motion

  • Produce sharp motion graphics and videos for product showcases and community engagement

  • Optimize video content for maximum impact across platforms

  • Experiment with 3D, generative art, and interactive storytelling


What We’re Looking For

Core Skills & Experience

  • Strong portfolio blending graphic design, UI/UX, and motion

  • Proficiency in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and motion tools (After Effects, Blender, or similar)

  • Experience designing for complex, technical interfaces

  • Fundamental understanding of front-end principles (HTML, CSS, JS a plus)

  • Ability to execute fast, iterate faster


Nice to Have

  • Experience with AI/ML-driven interfaces and technical visualization

  • Knowledge of Webflow, Framer, or similar prototyping tools

  • Open-source design contributions

  • Interest in the intersection of design, intelligence, and autonomy
