Develop and support high-performance infrastructure tools for chip design and verification. Build scalable backend and frontend web applications using Golang, TypeScript, and JavaScript; manage hardware-level product definitions; improve workflows for architecture, hardware, and software teams; and research solutions that increase engineering efficiency.
The summary above was generated by AI

NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over two decades. Our invention of the GPU in 1999 fueled the growth of the PC gaming market, redefined modern computer graphics, and revolutionized parallel computing. More recently, GPU deep learning ignited modern AI — the next era of computing. NVIDIA is a “learning machine” that constantly evolves by adapting to new challenges that are hard to tackle, that only we can pursue, and that matter to the world. This is our life’s work, to amplify human creativity and intelligence. Make the choice to join us today!

Our team is responsible for development and support of infrastructure tools used by design engineers for build and verification of architectural, RTL, and gate level designs. As a senior software engineer, you will craft highly efficient software to automate and facilitate chip design and verification processes.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Work as a team to build reliable, scalable and high performance software that are easy to use by hundreds of engineers worldwide.

  • Working on backend and frontend design and development of web applications.

  • Research and develop software solutions to allow greater efficiency in architecture, hardware and software teams.

  • Optimize the daily workflows of the world's top chip modelers and designers.

What We Need to See:

  • Strong experience with Golang, Unix/Linux

  • Proven knowledge of web languages typescript, javascript

  • In-depth understanding of database concepts and object modeling.

  • Solid understanding of algorithms, computer architecture and computer science theory

  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • 6+ years of software development experience

  • Flexibility/adaptability for working in a global and dynamic environment with different frameworks and requirements

Ways to Stand out from the Crowd:

  • A love for engineering and passion for what you do

  • Experience with container technologies like Docker or container orchestration like K8S

  • Knowledge of Ruby

  • Ability to read and understand C++, especially Modern C++

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
