Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Engineer in Technology as part of Wealth Investment Management Technology's (WIMT) engineering and transformation office. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .
The Senior Full Stack Java Engineer will be supporting the strategic initiative focused on expanding Account Opening and Maintenance capabilities within WIMT. This role is critical to increasing capacity and enhancing the applications used by financial advisors to onboard new clients. The individual will work across multiple Scrum teams to build a new technology stack and enhance existing applications. Responsibilities include designing, coding, and testing features while collaborating closely with other developers.
In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 3+ years of Java full stack Software Engineering experience building UI, APIs and backend solutions
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Java Version 8 and later functional programming experience
  • 2+ years of experience with Spring, Spring Batch, and Spring Boot
  • 2+ years of Java unit test case development experience
  • 2+ years of experience in automated unit and functional code testing
  • 2+ years of experience in development of UI with MVC, Web Forms, Angular and/or ReactJS
  • Knowledge of OpenShift Cloud Platform and Harness for deployments.
  • Experience with SDLC tools and processes including GitHub, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Artifactory, Sonar, Maven or Gradle to manage CICD
  • Experience using GitHub Co-pilot for Unit Testing coverage, code reviews and building solutions

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$100,000.00 - $196,000.00
