We value learning and growth and the ability to make a big impact at a small company. We believe that we can make big changes happen and improve the daily lives of millions of people by bringing quality software to the federal space.

You’ll join a cross-functional Data Applications team supporting the modernization of secure healthcare platforms and user-facing analytics tools. In this role, you’ll help design, build, and sustain responsive data applications that integrate complex backend data environments with accessible, human-centered user experiences. You’ll collaborate closely with UX designers, data engineers, platform teams, and stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions that meet strict performance, accessibility, and security standards. You communicate well across technical and non-technical teams and enjoy collaborating with designers and functional partners to turn real user needs into reliable software.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Build and enhance full-stack, user-facing data applications using modern web frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar) and backend services.
  • Develop and integrate APIs, services, and data layers leveraging SQL Server, REST APIs, and healthcare interoperability standards such as SMART on FHIR.
  • Translate UX designs from Figma or Adobe XD into responsive, Section 508- and WCAG-compliant interfaces.
  • Integrate analytics and visualization tools such as Tableau and Qlik into application workflows.
  • Deploy and sustain applications using CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with DevSecOps and platform teams.
  • Implement secure authentication and access patterns including CAC, SSO, MFA, and zero-trust-aligned designs.
  • Support iterative delivery using SAFe Agile, including backlog refinement, iteration planning, and defect resolution.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States. In alignment with federal contract requirements, certain roles may also require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal background investigation and/or a security clearance.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Benefits:

  • Fully remote
  • Tech & Education Stipend
  • Comprehensive Benefits Package
  • Company Match 401(k) plan
  • Flexible PTO, Paid Holidays

What you need to know about the Boston Tech Scene

Boston is a powerhouse for technology innovation thanks to world-class research universities like MIT and Harvard and a robust pipeline of venture capital investment. Host to the first telephone call and one of the first general-purpose computers ever put into use, Boston is now a hub for biotechnology, robotics and artificial intelligence — though it’s also home to several B2B software giants. So it’s no surprise that the city consistently ranks among the greatest startup ecosystems in the world.

Key Facts About Boston Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 269,000; 9.4% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Thermo Fisher Scientific, Toast, Klaviyo, HubSpot, DraftKings
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, software, aerospace
  • Funding Landscape: $15.7 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Summit Partners, Volition Capital, Bain Capital Ventures, MassVentures, Highland Capital Partners
  • Research Centers and Universities: MIT, Harvard University, Boston College, Tufts University, Boston University, Northeastern University, Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory, National Bureau of Economic Research, Broad Institute, Lowell Center for Space Science & Technology, National Emerging Infectious Diseases Laboratories
