Our client is transforming the rental experience for over 20 million landlords and 100 million tenants in the US. They’ve built the top-rated all-in-one platform streamlining the rental process from start to finish.
About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a high-velocity product and engineering team. In this role, you'll work directly with leadership to architect and ship scalable features across a modern tech stack, with high impact and visibility. You’ll play a key role in improving user growth and retention, collaborating cross-functionally to bring new features to life and support a growing base of hundreds of thousands of users.
Key Responsibilities
Own and ship major features across the React + Node.js codebase
Rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on new product ideas
Architect clean, modular, scalable solutions using Firebase and GCP
Build integrations with partners like Stripe, TransUnion, and Home Depot
Collaborate closely with Product and Design teams to enhance the user experience
Review code and mentor teammates to support team velocity and code quality
What You Need to Succeed in This Role
6+ years of experience developing with Node.js and React (Redux, Tailwind) with serverless environments like Cloud Functions or AWS Lambdas
Solid NoSQL infrastructure experience with Firebase (Realtime DB, Auth, Cloud Functions)
Experience designing and maintaining large-scale, serverless architectures
Strong knowledge of writing clean, testable, modular code
Ability to work independently on major features with minimal supervision
A team-oriented mindset and openness to feedback
Enthusiasm for mentoring others and contributing to a positive engineering culture
Experience in Proptech, Fintech, or with payment systems is nice-to-have.
